I just can't get enough of this series, but sad I have to wait until November for the next release. This book focused on the younger of Koyomi's little sisters, Tsukihi, but still had plenty of Karen in it. I think his sister's have easily become my favorite of the girls surrounding Koyomi. This book definitely cemented that for me, and I barely put this book down once I started reading.

This light novel was a fun read , and made me regret not giving the anime more of a chance than watching the first episode. I really like the premise of playing games instead of combat to win battles and settle disputes. 3.75 out 5 would be my specific rating. I'll continue the light novels, and eventually pick the anime back up also.

While Kizumonogatari took a step back from the banter I thoroughly enjoy in this series, Nisemonogatari Part 1 has brought it back in full force. It really is what makes this series such a super fun read. I also really enjoyed finally getting a true introduction to Koyomi's younger sisters, in particularly Karen whom is the focus of this first part. We also see some interesting developments within the triangle relationships of Koyomi, Hanekawa, and Senjogaraha that I wasn't expecting. I'll be jumping right in to Part 2 of Nisemonogatari, which will focus on the younger of the two sisters, Tsukihi.

I have to admit this book really disappointed me. I have to come to really enjoy NisiOisiN's books I've read so far, but this one didn't meet expectations. The premise of this book is really intriguing, as it features the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac fighting it out to be the lone victor and have a wish granted. That part is awesome, but the structure of the chapters was not. Once I realized the pattern of how deaths occur, I was kind of bored. When you start a chapter and immediately know who the next death is before reading a single line, the fun of wondering who is next is sucked out of it. This book had potential, but it was squandered in my opinion. I give it a 3.25 out of 5.

YAAAAAS!!! More Lunar Chronicles, but more importantly.... more Iko!!! Really good graphic novel that takes place between Winter and the last story of Stars Above. It is interesting to see how the characters look here, and I'd say about 40% or so actually looked similar to how I imagined them. I love the focus on Iko, and I can't wait to see what volume 2 brings. This is definitely a must read for Lunar Chronicles fans, but do not read if you haven't touched any of the other books yet. Comic fans, stay away until you've read everything else! 4.5 out of 5

This was such a super cute graphic novel, and super funny too. Even though there are a lot of really funny moments, the book also has perfectly timed touching ones as well. The characters will definitely stay with me for a good long time with Nimona. That ending though, it caused some dust to get in my eye or something. >_> 4.5 out of 5
