The manga author still has not figured out what down time is. 3 volumes in and everything just happens in a blink of an eye. There's no time to even care about the loss he experiences, or then his new companions. There's even a talking fish, but it blinks by so fast, it didn't even matter that it existed. No depth to any of this

What a fantastic follow-up to book one. Loved it, and it was surprisingly emotional. Also that nice little surprise at the end has me yearning for volume 3.

All of this 2nd volume felt a bit too disjointed in pacing. I ended up checking out towards the end. Its not bad, but I'm legit okay with this being the final volume (which it seems to be as of right now).
