I didn’t really remember this one at all but the setting was so cool and the story was fun, if a little bit slow at times but it was still good

Yeah okay I gave in and read it, obsessed!! I have book 2 to read soon and I wanna read everything the author's written. I loved the suspense, the reveals, it all felt really high stakes and the whole plot was immaculate. I really cared about all 4 of the main kids and loved every one of them, I was sat gasping at so many parts! I got the twist a little before they figured it out and it was revealed but I'm okay with that cos honestly it took me a lot longer than I expected and it was fun seeing the characters figure out what I already knew!!

Anyway 4.5*, this was really bloody fun and I loved it! (Also screaming at Bronwyn and Nate ahhhh)

Yeah I didn’t like this one much as a kid either, still tracks

Genuinely am just rating these 5* purely on nostalgia and fun factor

I’m kinda shocked by how much of these books I actually remember despite it being like 13 years since I read them. The nostalgia is real and honestly these are still entertaining light hearted reads. Everything is just so silly and fun, i missed them! Book 3 next!

I can’t lie, all of these are gonna get 5* just bc they make me feel like a kid again

Oh god this was a lot of fun. I started reading it just out of nostalgia, see what I remembered but I really did have a lot of fun reliving this! I used to adore these books when I was like 8/9, I’m 22 now and honestly it was still good! I kinda still like middle grade stories anyway and I really needed something light hearted right now so this really hit the spot. I might continue and see how many I can read this weekend!!

4.5 *

I can't lie,I'm kinda obsessed with this,,,it wasn't what I expected but I loved every second. I'm not usually one for slow paced books but this was just really interesting to read and almost calming? (i cant explain). This one was far far superior to book 1, I think I'm just not a fan of Louis' narration but Lestat's? Obsessed, completely obsessed.

Idk what to say except I loved the whole story, everything we learnt, the general premise of why we are being told things, idk it's just really great! The whole book just felt so lyrical and emotional, it felt like I was reading for so long to get through it but at the same time I didn't want it to come to an end. Honestly if you didn't much like book 1, please try this one the narration just feels much more interesting, it's clear it's a different perspective and I just love it a lot. I listened to the audiobook for a bit too which was just so good, it gave it even more emotion and life !

I don;t even really know what to do after THAT ending my god...

Anyone who said this book is like ACOTAR is so wrong, saying that does such a disservice to this book it’s magnificent!! I loved every second of this, the world building, the characters, the romance. My heart is singing it was so good!! I urge you to read this if it’s on your TBR please! You won’t be disappointed, it’s magical!!

THIS!! My god this is exactly what I needed rn, sapphic paranormal romance?? It was just perfect! The right amount of drama, a really good slow burn, just the whole thing was so satisfying! I love them so much the stupid idiots I had such a good time!!!

The rep in this book was really good too I really loved reading it and I’m now dying to read more from this author ahhhh!!
