I’m convinced this series is my favourite series EVER. It seriously never disappoints, flawless, beautiful, everything I ever need in a book every time! God so much happened in here and I couldn’t put it down at allll.

Yet again this was just incredible, I loved the story, all the twists and turns, the gore! It’s just truly flawless to me, like the references alone spark so much joy! That carousel scene was so lost boys god I am obsessed.

This seriously hit every trope I like in vampire media yet again, the characters were amazing, the mystery was a ride and I cannot wait for the next (and hopefully not last) book!!

This was perfect! The right amount of gore, suspense, twists, horror tropes!! I loved the length too, I feel like it was super fast paced and to the point and I couldn’t put it down! Really had a lot of fun with this and hope the author writes more horror in the future because this was just the right amount of weird, supernatural and creepy I love!

When this said slow burn it was NOT kidding and did NOT disappoint!! God I think I loved this second book more than the first, truly. More tension, more drama, more romance…just ugh I loved it! Justin and Clem have my heart. I can’t wait to meet the next pair of loveable idiots in the next book.

Also can we talk about the rep in this series so far?? It’s truly beautiful ! I just love everything about this series and just how fucking well written and well done everything is. I can’t put them down meaning you should pick them up!

Giving this 3.5! It wasn’t better or worse than the last book I read in the series, it’s equal so it deserves an equal rating.

Though this book was a hell of a mindfuck, trying to keep up with all the information and the explanations and the at times pure confusion what was going on! The beginning of the book started so strong and it was so wild, the revelation ghosts were real, god and the devil? It was interesting and tied in stuff we learnt in previous books really well! Though I can’t wholeheartedly give it more than 3.5 for the sheer “what the fuck”ness of the whole concept of the book…like purely what the hell happened here lmaoooo! The blood of Christ?? Essentially Time travel?? Entertaining nonetheless!

Okay so I was a little hesitant on this at first but this was so far up my street it kept driving and crashed straight into my house.

I loved every single second of these disaster boyfriends! It really was idiots to lovers and I enjoyed all of it! Wes and Vincent were both really interesting and complex characters and I just loved them SO much, the romance was adorable, all the lil misunderstandings and slow burn elements were a thrill!! I loved how it wasn’t afraid to touch on mental illness properly as well and really made the characters relatable and it was really carefully and well done, it was beautiful. And the ending!! Are you trying to kill me?? How can you do that…then THAT! 5* easily, I look forward to reading more from this author asap!!

This was so creepy and gory and such an insular horror story !! I loved this take on vampires and despite others not enjoying the slowness of the plot, I think it worked perfectly! The slowness and the uncertainty really added to the story and made it even more compelling!! I do enjoy how heavy it went on the gore at times and just how weird it was and how nicely it wrapped up at the end, a great standalone for an afternoon.

If you like weird, beautifully written low plot books with interesting unique horror elements I recommend this, I read it in one sitting and I had a lot of fun with it. I’ll be for sure picking up further horror from this author in the future!

“Destiny doesn't come to you.
You have to take it. Demand it.”

Okay this was FUN! I loved this world in to kill a kingdom and I loved it again here!! The characters were interesting, the magic system was really cool and the main characters almost enemies to lovers energy was beautiful!! I loved the evolution of the characters and their growth!m. The plot was seriously so fun and fast paced and I hope we get to go back to this world eventually and see the aftermath of those events!!

This book made me feel so many things, especially the ending. I’m angry, upset, heartbroken…just SO much happened and I’m desperate for the final book!

I can’t live not knowing what’s to come, my heart STOPPED at chapters 44-46…WHAT THE HELL??? I LOVE THIS KINDA THING IN BOOKS MY JAW WAS ON THE FLOOR

I’m actually so in awe of this book though, so so much happened, so many things were revealed and just ahhhh!! This was THE perfect middle book and I can’t think of a single thing to say to encompass how much I loved it…this book made me feel so much and now I just feel so empty having finished it!! I can’t say too much without major spoilers but all I can say is Jacks…my poor sweet baby boy…I love you…

Okay so I just finished this finally and I truly do not know what to think. Like I think I enjoyed the storyline and what it was going for but some of the stuff…man Anne were you tryna hit a word count?? Why were some sections so long?? The pacing was so off, which usually I expect from this series but this one felt weird.

It’s not that I didn’t enjoy the book it just felt a little like a chore and it took me a while to see why things were happening and understand the point behind the book. The last chapter was whack tho what the hell was goin on there??? Do I like it?? I’m not sure! But I did have fun with some of the more interesting plot lines and seeing Lestat as a mortal man was…interesting to say the least.

I do feel like it’s an important book in the series to read regardless though so you get some insight into the motivations and reasonings behind characters and their actions ?? So I’m giving it a 3.5!

This was good in a weird way of it being good. I enjoyed it, genuinely could see all of this going down in Manchester tbh. I just wish it was a bit more show than tell!!

Do recommend though, it’s weird, it’s funny and it’s just a wild ride!! Overall a 4!
