Cessy's younger sister is missing. Cessy finds out that Kate went back to their hometown that has some strange happenings going on. There is a radio show that the whole town is listening to that is spewing hatred and ignorance.

This story was really creepy because you see things like this happen every day. The news spouting stories as truth to ramp up the fear and anger. But this goes so much further than that.

I don't think I've ever loved a sequel as much as I have the first. Fantastic story

You know a story is good when you are left with a smile on your face and wondering how it would be for yourself in the story.

Where would my door lead me?

I don't want to give anything away and spoil so this will be a brief review. I wasn't expecting how emotional this would be. I love how Isabel Sterling writes and can't wait to see what they release in the future.

Vixen and Gabe move to Wentwoth Hollow where Vixen is a rare butterfly photographer which takes her into the woods. After examining some of her shots she sees something she cannot identify and decides to go back to the clearing to find out what it was.

Going back to this clearing is where the story really ramps up. This story was wonderful and I just couldn't put it down and finished it in one setting. I am a sucker for Fae stories and this one was exciting and fresh. I love that Kay Parker doesn't shy away from the darkness.

If you want a quick great read I definitely suggest Fairfolk of the Oaks!

I picked this up based on a recommendation of a close friend. As it is not my usual genre I decided to clear any expectations out entirely and go in blind, I didn't even read the synopsis before starting.

Let me tell you, I FLEW through this! This story flowed really well that nothing took me out, I was fully invested in what was going on in Salem and with Hannah. I don't really care much for romance but I CARED about what Hannah was going through and at one point I even cried.  This book had everything I needed, easy flow, interesting characters, and a good plot. I've already checked out the second book from my library and can't wait to get started

Good story about how everything can't just be handed to you. I liked it

This was my very first Laymon book and I actually had a good time. I heard a lot of people saying it wasn't good and a lot that said they enjoyed it. I'm in the good time camp.
