Great little read. Really an extension to ‘This is Going To Hurt’. Some laugh out loud bits and some sad bits. Smashed through this in 2 days

Quite disappointed. His Dark Materials trilogy were books that made me fall in love with reading, but this missed the mark for me. A lot of politics and philosophical waffle that wasn’t necessary. The last 20-30% of the book was better, but a real slog.

Pretty average. It didn’t get going until 3 quarters of the way through, character development was pretty poor. I felt the relationships were unlikely. Readable but wouldn’t recommend it.
