Read this one for Oregon Battle of the Books committee. It’s pretty good! Definitely brings great perspective :)

I really enjoyed this book and that surprised me a lot because I’m NOT a sports book gal. However, if there is any sports book I’m going to enjoy, it’s this one. Well done :)

I was genuinely surprised with this book! I had no idea what it was about but for some reason I was avoiding it for months! It was very enjoyable and I’m sad it took me so long to get to it.

Once again, I was nervous to pick up a book because it was as think as a brick. With this one specifically, the audiobook was 30 hours which, to date, is the longest audiobook I have ever encountered. I’m really happy that the Booktube prize brought this one my way though, because it allowed me to learn so much about Black culture in this specific area. I really enjoyed the characters and the overall development, however, I would recommend having a copy of the book near you because there is a LOT going on in this book.

After listening to this book for the second time, I have bumped it up to a 5 star because it truest is lovely. It is really the best audiobook to start the year with ❤️

I was crying after the first chapter. John Green just has a way with words for me that always hit me right to my core. I highly recommend the audiobook of this one.

The very first manga I ever read and I hated it. I don't even know what I just read.
