Once again, I was nervous to pick up a book because it was as think as a brick. With this one specifically, the audiobook was 30 hours which, to date, is the longest audiobook I have ever encountered. I’m really happy that the Booktube prize brought this one my way though, because it allowed me to learn so much about Black culture in this specific area. I really enjoyed the characters and the overall development, however, I would recommend having a copy of the book near you because there is a LOT going on in this book.
