I found this really cute and super hilarious! Definitely an excellent book for high school-aged students. I'm happy that it was chosen for Oregon Battle of the Books this year.

This book deserves a second read so that I can REALLY take in everything.

What an absolute gem this book was! It took me a little bit of time to get into it but once I got in it I was IN. I absolutely loved it. I'm super grateful to have read this book at this time. There was such amazing representation with having a gay transmasc protagonist. I can't wait for the next one.

I absolutely loved the plus-sized Black Girl girl representation in this one! So happy with it.

This one was like a breath of fresh air! I haven’t been reading a lot of romance recently, but it was really nice to read a romance that is focused on Blackness ❤️

This book was SUPER LONG. I enjoyed the story but not enough for it to be this long, dang. I can totally see the appeal, I just do not think I am the audience for this one lol

This was a book, once again, I don’t think I would have picked up if I wouldn’t have read it for the Booktube Prize. I really enjoyed being about to see all of these experiences with this family through everyone’s perspectives. I found that really fun and amazing to follow. I’m really happy that I picked it up!

3.25/5. This one was interesting and, like so many books I read for the Booktube prize, not one I’d pick up on my own. That being said, there were a few moments that I zoned out and didn’t really care for what was going on. On the flip side, I found myself enjoying it at other times as well. Overall I would say it was a pretty good book :)
