My cousin recommended this to me and I’m really grateful that I picked it up

I read this one for my book club. Yeah, I would have never picked up this book if it weren’t for my book club. This book was very much like the old TV shows that I used to watch as a child. However, I would much rather watch a story like this that read it.

I was really interested in how race relations would be for Cussy, but I felt like things were just glossed over end not really dug down deep. I would have loved if there was more on that in the book and how Cussy felt about her blueness. It was there, but not enough in my opinion.

A student recommended this one to me. It was cute!

3.5/5 stars.

This was such an engrossing book. Following Enchanted’s story was challenging but necessary. Very thought provoking.

This was so so wonderful. My heart. I definitely want a copy of this book for my classroom! Ugh, so good. It’s so important for kids to see perspectives of kids who are going through the experience of having an incarcerated parent. Such a special book:

I teach Lewis and Clark every single year and I knew that I wasn’t going about it in a way that encompassed many perspectives. This book gives me a wonderful starting place to teaching this topic in a more equitable way.

What an eye-opening and insightful read. I learned a lot about our country's history that I didn't know. I'm glad to know that there is a young readers edition so kids can start learning about our true history.

3.5 out of 5 stars.

What a delightful little book :)

Well...um....I have a lot to say and nothing to say st all. I need a book club for this one because...wow

Read this one for my library book club. I read the audiobook, and I got really lost in it. All the characters were all over the place in my head. I think this one is definitely one to read physically.
