This was a really cute romance. Everyone and their mom who knows me has been telling me to read this one because of my love for cute things. Well, it most definitely was up my alley. I’m not quite sure why, I may need to meditate on this one a bit more, but I didn’t really like Gus as a character. He definitely said some dreamy things that made me swoon, but most of the time I thought he was kind of a butt. I really liked January! I found her voice very strong and hilarious at times. I don’t know, I enjoyed this one, but I thought I would like it a lot more than I did.

The second read through hits different. My local library every year hands out one book to as many people as they can and then they have events around the book all throughout January. This is the book for this year. So good, so sad, really insightful.
One of my students was begging me to read this so I did. I liked the amount St. Helens one better but it was good.
OH MY GOD YES! I am done! I started this book in MARCH. This is definitely the longest it has EVER taken me to read a book without giving up on it and picking it back up. I am so glad I could jump for joy! (Too late! I'm jumping!)
Because I have watched ever movie adaption known to man of this book, it came off as completely boring. It was nice to see the parts in the book that weren't in the movies. Let's just say, I am very glad to be done. The rating is higher than it should be, only because I am in love with the March sisters and their story.

I read this is this in my 7th or 8th grade class and I remember loving it :)
Reread 2018
Once again, I found myself laughing while listening to this audiobook. I’m not sure if I’ll read this one to my 4th graders, but I’ll definitely keep it in my library.

This one was a bit of a sneak attach like for me. I kind of went into it thinking that I wasn’t going to like it. I’m not quite sure why, but I’ve really struggled with generational sagas all in one book before. I’ve gotten lost in characters and the timelines, so I was hesitant to pick this one up. I’m super glad that I did though. There was was really lovely warmth written into the lines of this book. It just felt like I was curled up on my couch in front of a fire every time I found myself alone listening to this audiobook again. I really cared about these characters. I’m kind of sad it’s over, I wanted more.
I picked this one up to see if I like the graphic novels as much as I do the novels. Although I could see their appeal to a younger audience, I definitely enjoy the chapter books better than the graphic novels.
Just like everyone and their mom I jumped on and was ruined by the Netflix show Bridgerton. As soon as I found out that there were books, I knew that I wanted to read them ASAP. Who knows when the next season is going to be coming out. The TV show is WAAAAY better. I'm super glad that I watched the show prior to reading the books. I will probably continue because I'm impatient and want to know what happens with the rest of the Bridgertons, but I'm not in love with these books.
Hmm. This book was really curious. The premise brought me in and kept me, but I"m left feeling just okay. I mean, this was definitely a book where a bunch of rich white people did their thang. Like, it was interesting to follow characters over such a long period of their lives. However, it was just okay in the end. I was actually a little disappointed by the ending. A little too vague for me. Hmm...how interesting this book was. I may need to return to this review later to fully place my feelings.
