I read this for my book club. It was not my cup of tea.

This was a really great book! I think I would have liked it a lot more if I was in high school because that's the audience, but I can still appreciate it. Definitely something I think middle and high schooler's should read this.

My library is allowing people to get book bundles from specific genres. This was one of the books that came from my literary fiction bundle. I read the entire thing...It wasn't really my thing. I thought that I would start liking it more as time went on, but it was just meh the whole way through. I wanted to finish it though because I was so excited about getting it in my bundle XD

I wasn't as tied to this as I thought I would be.

I grew up pretty religious and it was a pretty traumatizing experience. I don’t ever see myself going back, but it’s nice to know that churches like the one I went to are having these conversations around race.

It was OK, surprisingly I think I would’ve enjoyed it more if I had listened on audiobook instead of read it physically.

I didn’t learn too much that I didn’t know, but my feelings were definitely validated.

Read this one with my library book club! I'm actually really looking forward to this discussion :)

I love Christina Lauren, I"m not going to stop loving them. They know how to make me happy when it comes to romance :)

What a trip! This was so much fun. I really enjoyed it and cannot wait to read more by this author in the future! :)
