Great sequel, love the continuation of the story. Unexpected, but nice touch of the spice. I'm having fun with this one.

Absolutely brilliant. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and deeply admire the author for how she managed to craft such a concise and meaningful story from a limited amount of information about Belle. On the pages of this novel, Belle comes alive, fully developed, and her story is truly fascinating.

Cara is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite authors of these little cute romance audiobooks. This is another gem of hers, and I really enjoyed it. It's great how she writes those characters that they're so healing to each other in a best way possible. I love the audio production, narrator were awesome.

Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy any aspect of this book, and finishing it was a real struggle. The characters' behavior makes no sense; they constantly completely change their personalities for no apparent reason. The dialogues are terrible and unnatural. The crimes are horrible. The book feels outdated and poorly written, and I won’t be continuing the series.

It has been a long time since I've stayed up all night because I couldn't put the book down, but this one sucked me right in sooooo bad. I ended up really liking this combination of mostly mundane thriller/mystery with a splash of supernatural written like horror. It's working for me. In a few instances I felt perhaps we have too much characters, but it's not something that'll bring my rating down. Holly remained awesome and one on my favorite King's characters.

This was one of my first tries in cozy mysteries, and I loved it! It's such a cute little short listen to relax. I'm so happy there's the whole series, can't wait to hear Selene's new antics!

Fantastic. It took me some time to accept that this is a character-driven story, but once it clicked for me, I really enjoyed it. The story is brilliantly told from a first-person perspective, and I completely felt the same emotions as the MC and shared the same opinions towards the other characters as he did. At first, I was also a bit confused about the world and the magic, but in the end, it was fun discovering the information alongside Fitz. I can't remember the last time I cried so many times over one book. The author masterfully delves into the depths of human nature and emotions.

I totally fell in love with this series, it's such a treat for my heart. Quick, cozy, interesting. The only thing I didn't like so much is the murderer is a wife with money motif, again. Hope to get something a little bit different in the next book.

I discovered I enjoy King's short work with this one! I loved now we got the story about just Holly, and had an opportunity to go deeper into her psych and relationships. Mr. Harrigan's phone was nostalgic and a great commentary about the beginning of smartphones. The Life of Chick was heartbreaking. And Rat was amazing, I love when King writes about writing, it was such a great twist on old school fairy tales.

THIS WAS SO GOOD! I mean, I'm totally depressed and everything is awful, but damn is this story written well!! It was so interesting to find out more about the magic Fitz can do, and I loved how we get to know many other characters deeper. And it had much more action and politic intrigue which was amazing. At this point I can't even predict wtf could happen in the third book, but I can't wait to start!
