as expected Sally Rooney is severing a 5 star book (at least for me). My friends and I really talk like Alice & Eileen do, we discuss political events & our futures as well as our love life and stuff. I see myself in bits of all the characters and I just love her character studies. And even though I am not religious, I enjoyed how they talked about Catholicism because ofc they are Irish. It makes sense. All in all I am happy to have read this book even though I am not feeling very content about the world right now. So thank you for writing a book that reminds me that there still are beautiful things in our world, I needed that.

I enjoyed reading Vuong‘s poetry a lot. It‘s raw and honest and heavy. This collection focusses on immigration, family conflicts and queerness. Overall I don’t know how to rate poetry but it’s definitely worth a read.

4.5 ✨
I really enjoyed how the author connected the lessons about boundaries to several real life stories. It made many topics really relatable and easy to follow. For me I could take away many tactics and exercises on how to strengthen my own boundaries. In general the book could be very helpful for people with children too which I think is interesting.
Would recommend

perfect for today, loved the illustrations and the message.

wow I am in Spain and the “s” is silent.
The last chapter killed me & revived me at the same time.
My heart hurts for so many women, so many of my friends, so many people who don’t talk about what happens to them.
