My heart aches... why? why did it end like this...

I would give it 4 stars were it not for the first part. It was a bit of a slog and I wish it had gone straight to the whole point of the book. When the second part started I got invested. 
All the plotting, manipulation, twists... I was not expecting anything like it but I'm loving the series!

I really liked the story but I didn't love how Maggie wrote it. I felt myself going back to the previous page because I had missed something a lot. I think this writing style just isn't for me.

This style of book was new to me but I enjoyed it a lot. Every relationship is unique and interesting, every character is complex ... I'm excited to see what follows.

This book was a wild ride. I loved it, but for different reasons than the first four.

This one made me cry, which is a first for me while reading a book; But the emotions and growth of Nesta, seeing her love with Cassian flourish, repairing her friendship with Rhys and Feyre. It was all really good! 
Please Maas give us the next book soon.

After ACOWAR this was a cozy read. Almost like a Christmas story. You get to see how everyone's lives progress; How Feyre gets back into painting and uses it to help others; How Nesta and Elain are dealing with all the emotions following the war. I am looking forward to seeing how all the character's stories develop in the next book, in particular, Nesta (who I feel will become quite powerful in the next book) and Tamlin (who deserves some closure).

This was a blast. After the second book I didn't know how Sarah would be able to write a third one as interesting. Well, while this one didn't have such a tense spice ACOMAF had it surprised me a lot. ACOWAR delves into different topics that I loved reading about... Characters like the Weaver and the Bone Carver had more time to shine (along with other equally as interesting)

I will miss you Bone Carver...

I look forward to seeing where the rest of ACOTAR series goes. 

I didn't know what to expect after finishing the first book in the series, but A Court of Mist and Fury surprised me in every way possible. ACMAF picks everything good in ACOTAR and makes it better.

Now to start the third book because I just want to see Feyre return to Velaris and Rhysand.

The perfect read for spring! The writing is simple, the story and characters are interesting, and the atmosphere is cozy.

My new favourite Stephen King book.
