This was a super cute book. This would be a fun book to read to children who are apprehensive about going to school.

Pete the Cat is always a hit. The illustrations are cute and the storylines are always heartwarming.

Beautiful illustrations. I truly loved reading this book. I had to read it twice because the story was so cute and enjoyable. I really liked how the girl started off kind of grumpy about going to the Nutcracker play, but once she was there she was swept up by the beauty and the magic of the theater.

I look forward to finding more books by this author.

I am slowly becoming obsessed with Elly MacKay's illustrations. She does beautiful work. The words on the pages of this book are equally as beautiful. Reading this really puts me in the mood for a crisp fall day.

I look forward to reading this book for some fall themed storytimes.
