I was very excited to read the Percy Jackson books for the first time. I wasn't sure what to expect out of the book's overall concept, however I was pleasantly surprised by how fun of a read this book was. I found Percy to be a very likable character. The narration read almost as if I was talking to a friend about his crazy adventures. I am definitely looking forward to reading more books in the Percy Jackson series.

I really enjoyed this book. I think the author's style of writing was very appealing to me as a reader of young adult fiction and as a reader who generally only reads small chunks at a time.

The characters were very relatable and authentic in feeling. I will definitely be checking out more books by this author

This was a very cute book dealing with the funny tale of cat vs. dog. I really like how Dog and Cat become friends in the end.
