This is a very sweet story about a girl who just wants a Mimosa tree for her birthday. Through the story she shows perseverance and love for the small tree even when others try to persuade her to get a tree that's more commercially acceptable.

This would be a good story for a tree/arbor day themed storytime for elementary aged students.

This was such a cute story.
