I really enjoyed reading this graphic novel. I enjoy stories that talk about World War 2 and the Holocaust because there are many important stories to tell about this time period. I thought this story was beautifully written and illustrated.

Bad Day by Ruby Roth tells the story of Hennie who is not having a good day. The book follow show cruddy day feelings and how to cope with your bad feelings.

I absolutely love the author/illustrator’s use of color and grey to create the mood for the story. I also really love the ending and the character’s positive resolution to his and day!

I really enjoyed this book. I like the characters, I’m intrigued to see what happens in the sequel book and how the war plays out. However, this wasn’t my favorite thing I’ve ever read. I found it hard to connect with the characters sometimes while reading this book.

I listened to this on Audible and I truly enjoyed this book. It has mystery, it has murder, it has romance, and it has a young girl finding herself.
