Oh man. This book was amazing. I went into it looking for a fluffy, light romance and came out the other end of my read with my romance bug satisfied and my female empowered character bug satisfied.
Penny is easily one of my favorite characters I've read for this year. Typically romance characters fall pretty flat for me, but in this book Tessa Dare does a really great job at rounding out Penny and her experiences. I LOVE how she owns her sexuality/body/person in the end.
My favorite quote from the whole book:
"I despise that word. Ruined. As if passion is an unforgivable transgression, and virginity is the only measure of a woman's worth. Is that what you believe? That making love tonight would make me worthless tomorrow."

This is a truly beautiful book. As an avid reader I really connected with the character. Overall this book was witty, cute and a pure joy to read.
I did not like this book as much as I thought I would. It's cute, but not my favorite picture book.
Oh Tessa Dare how I love your impeccable writing. I always go into these books wanting a light, fluffy smut fest and I am never disappointed. However, I truly appreciate the female empowerment, sex positive themes that flow through Tessa Dare's books. And the little quips between characters are so funny.
I have now read all 3 current Girl Meets Duke books and this one by far was my favorite. Alexandra is this Astronomy loving, lower class woman who is hired by Chase, a soon to be Duke who seems to be incapable of loving other people. Alex becomes a governess to two lovable and oftentimes frustrating young girls who are under the care of Chase. Hilarity and love making ensues shortly there after Alex's employment. Just when you think you have the plot figured out- think again. This slow burn will really keep you entertained for the few hours it takes to devour this book.

This was a fantastic book to read. I wasn't expecting it to be so heart wrenching. I immediately felt connected to the characters Catrina and Maya. My heart ached for both of them, however I am glad that they found happiness in the end.
I also really loved how culturally rich the book.

This book is super cute and would be a cute book for a clothing themed story time.
What book nerd wouldn’t want to read a book about the book nerdiest of Disney Princesses?
This book was pretty good. It was a nearly word for word, scene for scene adaptation of the live action Beauty and the Beast. I don’t think this is a necessary read and I’m not sure that I got anything out of this book that I didn’t get out of the movie, but overall it was a fun read. I can see how this book might entice younger readers to read something about a movie that they enjoyed.

This book was so fantastic. I immediately was drawn to the characters, Alexa and Drew. I was consistently rooting for them throughout the entire book. I like Jasmine Guillory's voice and style of writing. I like that there was a lot of steamy hot romance. Guillory kept a very good pace throughout the whole book. I felt like although she didn't show every single detail of what happened in the character's lives throughout the duration of the story, the on page stuff was illustrated well enough that the details of the off page stuff filled in themselves.
