Really wholesome and interesting and I also found the art style to be sooo up my alley ✨

Definitely haunting and beautifully written but at the same time, it didn't really hit the mark for me. I don't know what was missing, maybe a more linear storyline, cause it was like seeing glimpses of everyone's life story and although interesting, it didn't really make me feel connected to them or their stories.

I always love going back to this world but this one felt like it was so slow for the longest time and then suddenly everything started happening all at once.
I feel like I didn't enjoy the escape as much as I wanted to, even though Whitehorne Institute was appropriately eerie.

What a magnificent book! The most striking thing about it was the prose and the atmosphere it created, cause the way that story was told was literally spellbinding!

I feel like it ended up being so much more than what the synopsis let on in the best way possible. Being in our main characters head and following her story was a very intimate glimpse into her life, that sometimes felt like we, as the readers, were almost intruding.

Story line was so intricate and complicated that even though I got a bit confused, I'm definitely coming back for more!

This book reads like a fever dream and I still cannot make up my mind about whether I liked it or not.

It was certainly very visual, which was my favourite aspect of the whole book, the writing was to the point, but I think I might have missed a couple of things, or maybe some things simply didn't make sense.

Like, for example, the biggest issue I had was that I never understood why she killed her husband. Maybe the readers aren't meant to understand that though. I genuinely don't know.

Did enjoy it but not as much as I hoped. The last "story" did tie everything together, but at the same time, I still felt like something was missing.
