THIS BOOK!
It found me, not the other way around. And I feel like I read at a moment in my life when I was fully ready for it, I laughed and cried, especially towards the end. There's some parts that resonated with me so SO much and on one hand, it was a lovely reading experience, on the other hand I wish it didn't resonate as much with me.
The writing style was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, Gray wrote as if her life was depending on it and I will DEFINITELY be reading everything she writes.

Seriously, I have NO IDEA who the Niki was that read this book in 2019, was a petty ass bitch saying how slow it was an rated it 3 stars.
Rereading it this past week has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, I was hooked, I couldn't stop reading and I just fell in love with this world again!
Uuuughhhh now on to book 2!!

This was EXACTLY the romance I needed and I'm so glad it met all my expectations and I cannot WAIT to read the rest of the books in the series!
The nickname "sugar" did irk me though, buuuut we'll choose to look past this!
Minus 1 star becausethe sex scene at the bar during Teddy's birthday didn't really sit well with me. I get Luke's need to protect Emmy and all that, but grabbing a woman over his shoulder like a Neanderthal (exactly like the author herself pointed out) felt like out of tone compared to the rest of the book

Minus 1 star because
This is a 4.5 simply because I wasn't expecting it to end! I wanted more adventures for these people and I feel like it kinda wrapped up pretty quickly!
I found this by accident and I absolutely ADORED IT, such an intriguing concept!
This was oddly comforting and I wasn't expecting that from a book that was supposedly about a ruthless assassin 😅
Honestly though, I had a good time reading it and I will be continuing with the series at soooome point (no one knows when 🙈). I found it a bit hard to root for such an unlikable main character though, I don't know why Maas wrote her this way, cause she's not relatable one bit and I couldn't find it in myself to like her AT ALL 😅
Plus, I think this felt so cozy because Maas was probably more focused on utilising the "found family" trope than actually make the plot thrilling, cause literally Chaol and Celaena were galavanting about on day 2 of their encounter and I was like "excuse me sir, isn't she a fucking ASSASSIN????" 🤯
So yeah, no thrill, no stakes, just a teenage girl that apparently is so notorious that we have to be TOLD of all her accomplishments instead of SHOWN.

This was absolutely marvellous, if a bit disturbing at times. Enriquez paints an Argentina that's simultaneously horrid and awfully beautiful and she is very slowly becoming one of my favourite authors.
Im really glad I gave this book another chance, albeit more than a year later 😅
This was soooo bridgerton coded and I feel like this is why I enjoyed it so much! Kinda disappointed it's not a standalone though, as I'm not very keen to read a series right now. Overall though, it was a lovely read, quite suspenseful, if a little slow sometimes.
For some reason the romance didn't interest me AT ALL, plus I don't understand how Signa can be a reaper too, since there's only one death 😅
One silly thing that annoyed me a little bit, was how often Signa mentioned that damned etiquette book 😅 It threw me off eeeeevery single time 😅

Found family trope just has me at a chokehold 💪 this was the cutest, funniest read I've read this year and now I just wanna consume aaaaaany media that has to do with the Arthurian legend 🙈
Every single element of this book pointed to me loving it, but I was a bit lost...
The world building, especially at the beginning of the book was confusing, I was completely at loss as to what was going on with the Argantians and the Llyrians and I barely knew who was an Argantian and who a Llyrian 😅
I did enjoy how whimsical it was and loved the fairy tale vibe of it and how much the sea was incorporated in the story, but overall the way the story unfolded wasn't an enjoyable read for me.
