Yes Tomo-chan! Yes!

Compared to the first book in the series this just fell a short. The chemistry between the characters is off and seems a bit forced, like every character needed to have some sort of romance.  Fustratingly the realistic aspects fall short ~~ SPOILER
The police could not have let this go as much as they did. Practically did nothing the entire book leaving everything to the teens, who also don't go to the police if anything they find out.  Even if it is the most logical thing to do.You see a bomb? Call the police. It is a bomb!?

This book just left me screaming why.

~~ It just fell short.
lighthearted fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

This first volume was felt too short. I didn't feel there was chemistry between the main characters, but it gets better towards the end, though I feel like I need to spend more time with the characters to know if I like them or not. What leaves me on the fence is how pushy Sakura can be and how hesitant Hanasaki is. It doesn't seem healthy and leaves me wondering if they are a good fit together. While reading the relationship felt there was pressure to make it work and a little forced.

I think I will need to read the next few volumes to see if I would invest in the series.

Thank you Netgalley for providing me an eARC for an honest review.
