This is so cute! Tachibana and Onda have been friends and coworker for a long time. Coming together with there shared love of idols. This follows the start of there relationship from friends to a couple.
The art is cute and expressive and I can't help but get excited for every page. I can't wait to see how there relationship develops and to see there continued support of each other in the things they enjoy the most.
Definitely a great opening volume for this series.
Thank you Netgalley for the eARC.

~~ Sigh ~~
The end. Man what a ride! There are definitely cracks in this story and questionable logic, but I don’t care. ~~ SPOILER ~~ I’m mean come one Max and Adrian you are a little blindside or what? It was obviously Nova ~~ Dana gets it. I wish she stuck to it.
From beginning to end I didn’t want to put this down. So much was happening and it flowed without breaks into the next scene. Nova development in this book is rapid and Adrian is so lovely and nice. A hero and Max. So cute! This family relationship is my favourite.
A heavy breath at the end of this book. The epilogue SPOILER ~~ I like the ending from Magpie’s view but I wish we got more conversation and resolve on Nova and Adrian relationship. Kind of felt tossed in the air and just was scattered. I would have preferred there to be one more chapter before the epilogue or a POV from someone closer to the characters.

As a DND player it was great to see it a book. It definiately drew my eye. The characters are diverse and cute. It was a good start and introduction to a series, I was wanting to know more about so characters, which I'm hoping to see in future volumes and more on the gameplay of DND and the storytelling aspect of the game. Overall all a solid start to a new series ~~ 3.25 Stars - I liked it.
~~ A big thanks to Netgalley for suppling me with an eARC.

Okay the twist leading us here. ~~~ So fun!
The drama and the secrets just on the edge of the cliff. Making me feel like the sentence might be chaos. I read this so fast into it is all a blur. All I know is that I’m reading the next one. Now.

This book was a lot of fun. There are some flaws but I can’t help but love this. The powers were interesting. The characters loveable. Adrian has the most interesting power by far. Being able to draw and animate anything? Even into living things! Pretty cool and unique from other super stories.
The conflict is very drawing and Nova’s purpose is convincing and plot leading. The flaws to both sides just scratches the surface of real issues enough to drab but interesting to have an opinion.
The ‘twist’ loved it and it makes senses. I think I would have caught it a bit earlier if I thought about it for a second instead of blitzing through.
Though some actions made from the characters are questionable at times. It is easy to overlook and for me to give this 5 stars. As I look at the intended audience and remembering life as a teen.
A fun YA, worth the read.

I read the webcomic first and I loved it so much that I needed to read it physically. It brings me so much joy reading this.
This webcomic has a unique style. The storytelling and character development is so great. I care for all the characters and they all have sure personalities. I can't wait to continue to read this physically again and again.
Reread: I love it. The way emotions are portrayed is fantastic! I love the colours.
The representation is also fantastic.

It was okay. I think by 60 percent I had figured it out. It was interesting to see why thought that I wasn’t sure about until the reveal.
I found Mariana off and I wasn’t sure why she was allowed to be involved like she was, and some of her actions were very questionable.
Mariana is clearly not stable throughout the book. And some aspect are... unrealistic ~~ Spoiler ~~being able to see the crime scenes while not being police (that guy would and should be fired) and at the end seeing her niece. She clearly has no respect for authority and what she gets away with it every step she takes. It extremely unrealistic. Girl should be in prison or fined at this point.
This book was neither good nor bad, I did find it a different to my usual reading and easy on the brain.

I enjoyed the growth of the characters. Though I wish they more clearly explained about how much time had passed. Cause some of the time is a little odd. Spoiler ~~ When they get just before the last arc of the story and suddenly I feel like Kyoshi knows everything. When did she learn it? Comparing this to main series it seems like no time especially for someone who didn't really bend that much at all.
I did love all the characters though. They felt fleshed out, even the smaller characters had a depth even with little introduction. This was due to world building and the mentioning of events throughout the book with flowed and never felt like an information dump. ~~ Which I loved.
Intriguing enough. The way police investigation went seemed realistic. Some of the information the students found that the police didn’t was a little … ... but it wasn’t enough to feel cringey.
I liked the characters and however there was focus on Bronwyn and Nate. I never felt like I didn’t have enough insight to the other characters, who were also a focal point in the story.
It’s a good gateway to mystery in the YA genre.
