I want to start and say thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me a copy of this eARC.
Unfortunately, I don't think this book was for me. I didn't vibe with any of the characters. I felt some of the relationships were forced as well as the interactions. The story transition didn't flow for me and I found myself a little lost at times and asking why? I wanted a lot more world-building as there we so many things that were just not explained. Like how they go back and forth and who controls these tickets and why the place was created and sustained and how it came to be.
I felt I had too many answered questions leaving me disinterested and bored halfway through.

This was very cute though I wish we had one more chapter to really round out what the story was. To introduce the us to the cast, conflict of story and address some of issues that brought up.
Though there are unhealthy habits displayed im giving the benefit of the doubt that this will be addressed in future volumes. Hence why I wanted more.
I loved the art style. It was a good mix of structured and relaxed. Plus all the characters were super cute and different.
Thank you to netgalley and TOYKOPOP for the eArc.

This started so sweet and from the title, I knew it was a stand-alone, so I knew the story would progress fast. But I didn't expect it to get so graphic. The was due to them bring in highschool and being like 15. I think I might have missed something in the labeling but I didn't realize it was 18+. But that is my fault ~~~
It was cute story-wise to see them interacting together and it raised topics such as boundaries and respect for others' bodies. In a way that didn't exploit it.
The art was cute and drew me in. Overall a cute standalone.

Okay, this is utterly ridiculous. But in a weird sweet way.
We follow Kaho who is obsessed with male muscles. Everything about her stalking leads her to meet the star of the basketball team in her school, who has great muscles. Natsume after bumping into Kaho spying on people asks her to join the basketball team as the mangers after glimpsing her muscle notes and thinking them weird but useful.
I don't think this story is quiet for me but it was cute and the story does progress quite fast. The art is wonderful it was the drawing factor to be before reading the synopsis.
Thank you to Netgalley for supplying me with an eARC.

This books was tooooo long. It could have cut pages 300 - 650 and the story would have read the same.
You are being dragged around to every single characters unrelated random side quest/plot which had nothing to do with the main plot line, they are also mostly unresolved. So I hope something happens with them in the next book because otherwise it just wasted my time.
The epilogue leaves a big cliff-hanger leading into the next book making me want to continue the series. Although ...
SPOILER MAJOR ~~~ Sarah J Maas does a good job at trying to get you to read all her books. I haven't read ACOTAR and wasn't really interested in reading it but after investigating. The name drop Rhysand has something to do with this series so to not feel like I'm missing information I'm going to have to read them. ~ SIGH ~ I see how this is inciting but it also forces the reader to read her other series and as someone who had no intention of reading it is frustrating
I do still like the main characters and the side characters continuing from the first book. Not so much this book. Like Tharion, everything he was doing did not help the plot line at all and his motives don't make sense. Neither does his decision to join the Viper Queen at the end of the book he feels like a forced into the story and I feel like he is just another character that is useless to the main plot.
Overall will continue the series, the cliff-hanger got me interested. But I don't like this book. Though the main story line is good it had to many bad points not making me want to pick it up ~~ unrelated side quests, repetitive dialogue and scenes, characters that had no purpose. I might have liked it better if it was 300-400 pages shorter but that is not the reality here.

Minor: Suicide, Death of parent, Murder
Just a great writing, characters and story! I loved the touch of magicial realism, the portrait was so very clever. I can't wait to read more classics and works by Oscar Wilde.
The characters were so perfectly tragic and I got so much understanding from just the smallest hints and drops. The descent to madness is fantastic and this covers so many good themes a great classic horror!
I'm not a rereader. But this will be a book I will read again on day.

The art was probably the only good thing about this first book. The story was all over the place, All I know is that this girl can't died and she is contstantly being beheaded and I think that are in a place (school) between life and death. But as for the plot. ~~ no idea.
The only reason why I'll be continuing the series is because I have all the books being loaned from my sister. I hope it gets better.

I like this. It was good look into life in Japan and how people view others and the stigma surrounding age, marriage, work. You can't just be happy doing what you are doing and you are allowed to be happy and content just doing a simple job. You need to have a job or you need to be successful or you need a family. When all you really need is to be happy and be happy to just be happy with what you want and not what everyone else expects you to.
The more I think about the story, the more I like this story and the message it has and shows.

I loved this. ~~
The focus of found family was beautifully done. It shared topics that can be difficult to talk about in a beautiful story with great messages. One being and my favourite is ‘you are more than your appearance and your parentage’.
I haven’t read a book quiet like this before. Not in the sense of fantasy but perspective. Linus as a character is so different to me. It was enlightening to read and I enjoyed every minute of it.
TJ Klune writing is great and the descriptions make it easy to paint a picture of everything in my mind. The Narrator also added to the experience! The tone and the voice acting was great.
I can’t wait to read another of TJ Klune's books.
