I received this book free from the publishers - Scarlett Publishing - for an honest review.
So I gave the second book in this bully reverse harem series a go but I just couldn't enjoy this one and won't be continuing with the series.
Unfortunately the lack of communication trope continues all the way through this book and it's not done, for my own personal preference, in a good enough way to enjoy and continue with.
The steam is still really good and there's a few bits of good dialogue but overall it seems as if the main girl Nadia just can't make up her mind/ communicate how she's feeling and it just gets annoying by the end.
I also feel as if the three guys all seem to be falling in love with this girl when nothing has really happened. I would actually prefer to see more interactions with them all outside of sex where they talk and get to know each other which would make it seem more believable for me personally.
Steam: 18+

I was given this book for free from the publishers - scarlet publishing - in exchange for an honest review so thank you for that.
Honestly, I didn't really get this book. It's advertised as a high school bully romance but the characters are now all grown up and meet again at their high school reunion. It's also reverse harem.
The bully aspect is mostly what I do not understand. Because to be honest, there really is not a lot of emphasis on the bullying that supposedly takes place, so it feels a lot like the main character is making a big deal out of nothing because you do not know all the details.
The reverse harem aspect is fine and the steam is definitely good in that sense, but there is a SERIOUS lack of communication between all the characters and that REALLY bothers me. Especially because its not just once or twice in the cute way that happens when the characters fall out and then get back together. It's constantly. throughout the whole book. And tbh it aint my vibe.
I am going to continue with the series to see how it goes but so far definitely not a favourite of mine.
Also I don't know if I received an Arc copy or not but there was A LOT of errors and typos and that makes it really hard for me to read sometimes.

This was a super quick smut based read.
Not going to lie it was a bit unbelievable but I do think unfortunately that is because of the way the story was executed. Whilst some short novellas work really well, I don't think this one did as much. This storyline was a great idea, I just don't think it worked under these circumstances. I think the story needed more length to really work the plot.
Also there's instant love and then there was this - which was so instant love I couldn't actually find myself getting behind it.
Was still enjoyable but very superficial and the steam was not as much as I was expecting.

Unfortunately I couldn’t DNF this as I was reading it for a book tour.
- there are about 50 plot points in this book, and none of them are explored to an acceptable level because the book is also quite short and so it was so superficial and nothing felt fully or properly explored
- the love interest in this book makes NO sense to me. There is 0 chemistry between the couple and it literally comes out of nowhere.
- the other potential love interests in the book give off such misleading vibes that nothing happens how you think it should: and not in a suspenseful/plot twist way : it just doesn’t add up
- I found the main character so unlikeable and EVERY decision she made was annoying and honestly some of them are so unbelievable
- honestly I found most of the characters underdeveloped and unlikeable
- the time jumps in this book whilst I was glad they were moving the story along for me, objectively were very erratic
- one of the side characters was pretty cool and I would have liked to have seen more
-would have been a good length of book had it not tried to explore so much and so would have been a quick read in that case
-some of the plot points covered would have been interesting if they’d been developed fully

I did really like this book! I’m really getting into and enjoying historical romances so much at the moment!
Pros:
-The characters are both feisty, strong-willed, funny and loveable
-There are some SERIOUSLY sweet moments in this book that made my heart soar and my teeth chatter
-The dialogue was fun and again some really special sweet phrases
-Representation of mental health in the 1800s and highlight of how appalling people were treated
Cons:
- I did find it a bit slow to start, with the main part coming in about 55% and then unfortunately the end felt slightly brushed over because of this
-Theres one scene at the end that I personally feel the main character did not grovel for forgiveness NEARLY enough
Overall a quick, enjoyable read perfect for fans of Bridgeton especially!

I really liked this novella! It totally wasn’t what I was expecting but I was so pleasantly surprised and it was a refreshing/interesting romance trope for me.
The one thing I will say to start is I don’t really like the front cover, I was worried this story because of that was going to be one I wouldn’t enjoy but luckily it wasn’t.
The book features Gilda Griffiths who is a British woman that has made the 70 day boat journey across to Virginia America in the 1700s, because she is clearly running from a man in her past. In the town she arrives at she meets Blue Sky, the son of a Native American tribe chief, who resides nearby with his people.
What ensues is a loving relationship between Blue Sky and Gilda, affectionately known as Little Sun by the Native Americans, and a little bit of mystery and intrigue too as we try and work out what happened to Little Sun in her past.
I love Little Sun and Blue Eyes characters. They are both strong, independent people who learn to share their vulnerability with each other and overcome the pain in their pasts.
The novella gets straight into the story and I love that. It is quite instant love because of this fact, but it works really well for the book. Could it have been extended and stretched out as a story? Sure. But I don’t think that would have made it any better. The book was perfectly written for the novella short length that it is.
It was nice to learn that the author has Native American ancestry in her family and her husband is a historian, so whilst there are aspects of this story which may be fabricated for the fact it’s a romance novel, I believe a lot of the information is accurate too.
The perfect, read in a day romance.
Steam Levels: Uk 15 movie rating

So I will say I definitely liked the end of this book a lot more than the start. I did feel like the start dragged a little bit and I felt as if the book could have been quicker because there was certain inner monologues that were repetitive. But the ending was super sweet and made for a great end to the book.
Overall this is a pretty easy, innocent read. The author did a great job being accurate to the time period and there were definitely scenes I could really imagine what was going on and what it must have been like back in the time it is set.
I actually really liked the characters but would have liked to have had a bit more depth to them. I did feel that the story was very superficial in both characters and plot points. There were certain things that were touched upon that I felt could have been explored more and I felt there was certain aspects of the characters personalities that we were just given without any evidence.
I did adore though Ralph’s group of friends and how they were willing to help him no matter what. He had some good guys there.
Steam: light, more of a 13+ rating probably
