Not the book for me right now but it is a thoroughly researched book.

Was bored. Expected to be charmed but it felt kind of manic.

The subject matter (infertility and the possibility of an embryo switch) is too difficult for me to read.

I wanted to love this but there was no sparkle to it, my mind kept wandering off. 

This was…someone who ostensibly believes in freedom and enlightenment ideals has become very caught up in right wing ideals. It just gave me a lot of ick to read.

Nothing was happening to hook me.

Couldn’t connect to the characters, the plot felt too vague, I wasn’t hooked in any way. 

This first chapter is too intense, I can’t get  past the

dead child

Zero plot propulsion. Sort of creepy I guess? But I needed way more.

I wasn’t invested in this enough to keep going.
