Looking at that book I had a very vivid sense of déjà-vu and then looking at the author I realize that i read a precedent encyclopedia about dinosaur and prehistoric animals by that author. Very well done, beautiful and fun to have on a coffee table and just goes into it from time to time. But not sure I've seen major difference with the previous one, so if you already had a previous Barry Cox encyclopedia of dinosaur not sure buying the new one is worth it, but if you don't this is one worth looking for!

Gorgeous encyclopedia about dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures. It gives small presentation/definition/explanation on every one of them. Beautiful full colors illustrations. A book that you just pick a page here and there and learn stuff about those creatures that once rules the world and it also fun to see how a «species» evolve from once the prehistoric bear to the actual bear. If you love this subject, you should really take a look at this book. It's also very well organized so yeah it's fun to go around for fun, but it's also easy to find a specific one if you looking for something in particular!

Always good the books in this collection are well done, full of interesting facts and properly illustrated to present the facts and attract the young readers eyes. Well done, educative and fun!

Great, interesting and educative funny facts about various subjects. All well presented and visually attractive for younger readers!

4,5/5. Good book and good ending, but maybe the ending was not as great as the entire series. It felt a bit rush and maybe a bit too «happy» as an ending, it has some darker parts, but as a whole I was expecting a darker ending. The book is still very good though. Same very interesting world, good characters evolution, good action as well. Some inspiration, or at least I guess they were, were a bit more obvious in this third volume, but nothing to ruin the fun. A series I highly recommend for the fantasy fan who want something bit different and an author I would follow closely in the near future, because as I first trilogy this was really impressive!

Cohen was a great artist in every possible way. This poetry book was really good, sure not all the poems speak to me deeply, but a good bunch did and I would be more than interested to read more from him. I already knew him for his music of course, but it was a first with his poetry and we obviously get the same vibe from it. I like it a lot!

Maybe slightly overhype as a book. This small book as over 200 fables in it, that's a lot, maybe too much, I understand they want to put them all in but some are a bit repetitive in their story and moral, and some are clearly empty. Of course some, even the vast majority are good, educative and well done. Some of the most notorious are know by all, at least in part, but we never new necessarily were they came from. I like that they were very short, concise, straight to the point, so we get strong life lesson in a few sentences, which I think might be more easy to get into for young reader then the Lafontaine fables which are a bit wordy. A good book, totally worth reading, just don't expect all the 200 to be masterclass fables.

Awesome! A bit slow but we learn a lot of what is going on and obviously I like that. It's supposed to be a six issues mini-series so things should move on fast from here!

Good ambiance, creepy vibe, cool black and white minimalistic arts, all of that giving us a good graphic novel, or maybe more graphic short stories center on weird folklore. Unique and interesting. Totally worth checking it out!

No idea why I pick this one out. So not my style but I've heard some good reviews so I wanted to try it out. It was a mistake. For me this is a low one star, but in the same time I understand this wasn't for me so I will give it a fair two, maybe a three would have been more fair but I can't go that high. Very cheesy romance story, slow, long dialogue where nothing is going on. I was expecting it to be contemporary of course, but I would have thought maybe more of a self discovery or coming of age kind of thing, where it's truly just a simple romance. obviously I won't continue on and will probably try to sell it or even donate it. I think it could have some interested for teenage girls who want to get into manga. This sound very judgmental and I'm sorry but I truly thing this audience would be the more interested in.
