4,5/5. Cute little story of a girl on a quest to catch/kill a monster. I like that it take a more «manly» quest while putting a little girl has the characters, and while using a more girly illustrations. Just playing with the stereotypes a bit and delivering a fun story that both boys and girls can enjoy! Well done!

This is going nowhere! For the first time in years I think of dropping the Batman series for a while and pick it up later. Such a waste!

Barjavel se gagne rapidement une place d’importance dans mon coeur et bien que je comprenne, et que je sois d’accord avec les critiques féministes concernant ses personnages féminins qui sont plutôt passifs et ternes, je n’ai pas l’intention de bouder pour autant un auteur de talent. Pour les mêmes raisons que j’adore Lovecraft sans pour autant respecter ou partager sa vision raciste du monde. Je crois qu’il faut tenir compte de l’auteur dans son œuvre, mais aussi distancier les deux à un certain point.

Bref, Barjavel revisite ici le mythe du roi Arthur, des chevaliers de la Table ronde et de Merlin. Mettant l’accent sur des personnages parfois moins centraux, tout en offrant ne vision personnelle, mais assez classique du mythe. J’ai bien aimé son focus sur Perceval, Lancelot et la Dame du Lac. L’écriture toujours efficace, fluide et poétique à la fois offre un réel plaisir de lecture. J’ai vraiment adoré!

Ce livre fait partie de ma pile, déjà bien garnie, sur le mythe du roi Arthur/Merlin que je voulais approfondir en 2020, mais qui se poursuivra en 2021, manque de temps obligé. Donc si vous avez des recommandations de livres sur cet univers, n’hésitez pas à me faire part de vos coups de cœur et recommandations!!

Not sure why it was all about honestly... but I like it, it was good and pretty and above all kind of original in a weird way! Worth the time!

Cute for parents and their baby. A fun and tender way to introduce baby to book with affection and love from their parents. Very simple, but still well done!

Another book for toddlers. Fun and interactive with all those animals sounds and the «good morning» to all of them and of course farm animals are always a hit with children!

2,5/5 Yep another baby books today. This one is for presenting or introduce the small pot. It was okay, but I can't say the fun factor was there and the pot presentation is a bit too fast or simple, even for the «readers» age... Not bad, but not really good neither!

Not necessarily deep enough to become a top series for me. But if I can get my hands on some of them on BO than I might continue it for a while. Easy, fun and entertaining story with lot of video game reference, good action, could have been more violent, but wanting to stay in the teen department they probably had to keep it light. Way more entertaining than I though or expected it to be!

Oooooooh! What a great thing to find it was finally out on Hoopla (which I have free thanks to the BANQ, might want to check out Hoopla for comic and music!! «not sponsored» just want to share that great service!!). So I was delight to find it and even more to read it. Lot of fun but even better the balance between action and story evolution! Love it! Going straight into #8!

4,5/5. Always fun! Always good! Let us out maybe a bit too much in the dark in a stretching the series kind of way, but it doesn't bring the fun down, like a filler would, just seem a bit unnecessarily stretch but I enjoy every part of it still!
