A interesting book, a story in a story, which is all about creativity, being imaginative, don't be afraid of just trying and write and draw a good story. I think this can be perfect in class for introducting a writing activity. Some children just freeze in front of those and are afraid of making mistake so they just don't do anything. This show how we go with the story, create, have fun, and it also present some of the important part of a narrative story, the frame it has. Good potential and well done. I like it!

Unfortunately I can't say I like this one. It was way too slow pace and it felt overwritten in some place, not always, but quite often. Too many adjectives, over descriptive in some part, a story not that much original and too many stereotypes. It's readable, but there is also so many better mystery or thriller that I just can see why I would recommend this one...

This book was good in the content but not in the visual aspect. Let me explain. It present well know and less know place in Canada and in that way it totally achieve it purpose. My deception was with the quality of the pictures. Not the place taken, not the angle, but really the quality, some were okay, but must of it felt a bit «low quality» like they were taken with a low resolution. Maybe it was the digital edition that was edited to be a small file, but I doubt it, I would be curious to see the physical copy with the real pictures, but from what I've seen in my copy, the resolution was a bit low and that was «less pleasant» to go through it. That's why I drop my rating.

This one was just a fun silly ride with a little who goes into an adventure a bit against her will. There is also some light moral at the end about letting go that I like. Totally worth reading!

A young girl fight monster in her bedroom during the night. It was okay, even cute, but a bit too light for my taste. It was an enjoyable read that many children might enjoy, could do a good easy Halloween read, but for me it was just okay.

3,5/5. Well we get a bit of everything with this one. Some «skills» are dumb, some funny and some truly useful. All is well organized by categories (outdoor, cooking, dating, etc.). Good but take it lightly and more of an entertainment with some good advice in it, but not really a «manual of skills».

Funny book to play with words, homonyms specifically, just a bunch of sentences that sound the same out loud but have very different meaning and with good illustrations to visually represent the difference between them. Funny and also useful to work on vocabulary!

Well done but not for me. The art style didn't please me and I would have like it to go deeper a bit. Still I agree that this might be a good and simple way to get introduce into the life of this amazing man and learn about it without being overwhelm, after that, if you want to go deeper, well there is a lot of work you could go for.

Outstanding work of fiction!! Directly into my top five, maybe even top three, of the year so far. This book was fantastic in so many way.

First, this was very well written, even the hardness scene were written with beautiful word and always perfectly dose between too little and too much, to give just enough and make the reader live every moment like he was there.

This is mostly a feminist book, women who want to have a voices, who want to being active, take action, take control of their own life at a time when this wasn't easy to do so. Those characters are great, well represented, felt true and alive and I love them. I also like the way Jesus and the more «religious» part was deal with. Nothing too religious, in fact almost not at all, Jesus was bring «down» to a human level and that is was make it feel even more real, more «believable» and even more tragic in some way.

The most outstanding part of this book is the way the author handle the plot. Everyone will go into this book knowing exactly how this will end. Everyone knows! And still we are gripping at our chair waiting for it to happen, being anxious about it, terrify and unable to stop reading while knowing the end, which is an amazing accomplishment!! I even cry reading it (something are rarely do, second book out of 500 so far this year...), knowing again what was going to happen!

Definitely an author I will read more from!! Don't get scare by the religious side you might think it has, it isn't there, this is a story about life, about love, about women and just a wonderful book!

This is by far the most amazing children book I have read in a while. I already know this one will be one of my favorite for 2019! I read the pdf format of this book, but now I really want to buy a physical copy to have one but also to admire the artwork for real, because the art in this book is from another level. I also really love the softness, the simple beauty of the story and the wishful/hopeful message of caring for each other, helping each other and just wish the best to everyone and no being afraid to go out there and be who we wanted to be. That's what a children book should always be like! A model! A masterpiece! And a must read!!

Reading it for the second time to valid my highly enthusiastic review and it's still the case! Awesome book!

Finally having bought a physical copy of it and rereading it for the third time. It's always as good as the first read, the art is even more beautiful in a «real» book and it's just a great children book!
