Funny as an ARC, not sure I would spend money on a book like that to be honest but yeah I enjoy reading it a lot. In an 80s style of illustrations and pop culture in general, this book is like a catalog or a magazine that propose toys to buy, books, and stuff like that but was is good is that they're like crazy toys or story the «occult» aspect of it. So some kids of satirist dark humor here, I know I explain it horribly wrong but it was good and worth looking at if you can put your hand on it for a cheap price!

This book started so well, great foundation and concept, strong main character, but at the same time typical case of indi author who try to hard to make it too complex. It shoot in every direction and just loose sight of the main narrative. Good potential but need more work!

Some very great illustrations in this series, and I think even better as we move on into it. The story is also great, most of the characters seem in place, might be some new one eventually, but we really have the main cast set in I think and now some very epic battle are coming!! Can't wait!!

What a deception. Not at all what I was expecting. I was blindly mistaken by a misleading title. Nonetheless even so reading it, I find it a bit easy written, lot of historical but piece here and there and while I don't want to take any credit from the author, I don't know his background or anything, but I was always wondering How factual it is? How historically good are those facts? And it was the same with every aspect of it, it just seem to me like an author who highly praise is own vision of the world and hypothesis about every fields of interest he has. Maybe I have trust issue but something didn't click with this book.

I love the Big Nate collection, but the previous one I’ve read from these more childish/young kids collection left me out a bit. This one was surprisingly better. Still from very young one, but the writing, the sentences, all felt funnier and more fun to read.

3,5/5. Interesting book. Very specific and short than I would have expected, but it does a good job presenting, briefly, the overall evolution and design of this model. For the Corvette lovers!

Like always, very girly, but funny cartoon comic. Light but entertaining, not much for me, but definitely humor potential. Well done!

3,5/5. The illustrations of this one were very great. Some sort or color pencil hands drawing that please me a lot. The «story» is more of a documentary where we have this animal that present itself. So mostly a documentary, disguise as a story, not my favorite format of book for children, but it does what it does well enough!

This is just me thinking I pick a book about marginalize and originality because I did go way to blindly with the title. This book isn't about not settle to normal, this is about going all out for God. Totally not what I wanted or expected. Probably m bad, but still...

3,5/5. Petit album jeunesse sympathique. Rien de bien particulier, mais divertissant et bien illustré. J'ai bien aimé!
