I have mixed feelings with this book. Let,s get the bad out first. The Christian stuff about God and moralize then ending religiously wasn't necessarily at all, and that's bother me, not because I'm against it, but because the morale was already passed on and bringing God in will only get a lot of readers out of it. Now the good. It was great, except from the last four pages. Great story, real life situation and a proper moral about accepting your wrong and the just consequence of it. Nothing over dramatic or too big, just a good real life situation that is perfect for teaching kids. I would have taken God out of it and it would have been an easy five stars, but I have to drop it a little.

A different take on the post-apocalyptic book/story. I was okay in every aspects for me, nothing badly done, but nothing very great either. A very average comic book!

2,5/5. Very light little book between a comic and a picture book for children. A «funny» space travel story with average artwork. A very average book. Not bad but I wouldn’t recommend it!

Like many of those Asian inspire family story we often see nowadays this one as a very peaceful and beautiful art and at the same time a very slow family story. Those are always interesting but very slow and a bit long for younger readers so I would say only with more patient kids you want to learn m ore about living in other time and/or country.

Weird and not good. I try to audio book for this one and maybe that's the source of the problem and often listen to audio book and most of the them it didn't matter, but this one wasn't good and I think the audio might have be, a part of it (the way it was narrated). I might try to pick it physically some day, but not sure it's worth it.

3,5/5. This book and mostly what this author is writing is good for something like that even if it wasn’t that much for me. It reminds me a bit of Eragon, which should interest a lot of people. For me this was a bit too easy and light and not much originality. Everything work in a good way don’t get me wrong, but just look at how many book the author has write in the past few years and you will understand that writing that much, well., the originality will suffer from it. But in the end it’s still very readable and god easy light fantasy with dragon. I like my fantasy to be a bit more mature, more intense and with character with a bit more complex psychology. Personal liking 2,5/5, but easily 4/5 potential so I’m going with a fair 3,5/5.

A little story that talk about children «distancing» them self from their parents, going out exploring the world, something getting hurt but knowing that their parents will be there for them. All that, but with a very simple story with animals instead of humans. The message in it was good, but the way it was presented seems a bit light for me. It was okay but could have gone a little bit deeper (deep for children book that is for say).

3,5/5. First I was let down big time by the art. The cover see to promise a darker, more adult, type of illustration, when we are in fact give a lot of very childish dragon drawing. They are well done and pretty, is not the quality f the art, it’s truly the style, that was childish, but of course for children, this will do the job jus fine I think. Second, the information in it. That was good. We have a bit of «biological» information, where we can find it, some background/folklore story and some facts, all of those on every «species» of dragon we get, which is a good bunch of them. A good «encyclopedia» for children around 8 years old.

4,5/5. This children book was fun! We have a bear who asked himself what would he be if he wasn’t a bear. And then we explore the idea with him and then move to another animal, etc. This was just a fun silly ride, no message, no morale, but fun and entertaining. I find myself surprise of how much I enjoy it, which is a good thing!

Again a very good volume in the Vagabond series. I was expecting the big confrontation to happen in this one but it looks like we’ll to wait a bit more for it to happen. I love how the author merge all the plot and storyline we have follow so far in the series and now seeing all come together it just very fun. Love it!
