Presentation of vocabulary through the importance of water in our life. Word are always presented in English and in a first nation dialect. Interesting and well done for this kind of book!

A book that supposed to help children developing their writing skills. We pretty much cover the motor aspect of writing and not much of the brain/cognitive part of it. The book also have an ambiguity of targeted reader, sometimes it look clearly for children, sometime more for adults and sometimes a bit of both at the same time, which make it a bit unsuitable for both in the end. It has some good thinking behind it and can use has a reminder to «educator» to guide children and think of things to try if something seem wrong, but at the same time any competent educator should be able to think about those things on his/her own without the help of such a book. Even if it has some good elements in it I wouldn't recommend that book!

3,5/5. Another book about kids dealing with emotion. There is a lot of them out there and this one was okay but not among the best I've seen. A bit too long to make his point and aboard mostly just three emotions. I really like the simple art style which was beautiful. Nothing really new but a decent book!

2,5/5. An alien abduction comic, a premise to please me for sure but that unfortunately didn't deliver in the execution. The ambiance, the style, the characters everything was okay, but nothing good enough to grip me and hold me thigh!

Another of those photography book about abandoned places. I like those, book and abandoned places, so this was perfect for me. The photography are great, there is also small paragraph of information on the places. It kind of become a bit similar at some point, but it was definitely worth looking at. Good art book to let on your coffee table and go in from time to time. I like it!

4,5/5. Passing some time with Red Riot and adding a good background story to this characters was interesting. A lot of action in this one, a bit less on the story part, but that's something happening often with this series, a more story issue and then a more action one, and it goes on like that which please me! Always fun and I'm still in! Good series!

2,5/5. Some parts are more of a teenagers casual life, and some are more in the thrilling/horror part. In remind me of some of those old paperback novels for teenagers (in French it was call Frissons, not sure what was the collection in English) with author like R. L. Stine published a lot of them, but turn into a comic. It was okay but the thrilling/horror didn't move you well enough, the fear don't connect with the readers well enough. Good potential but I have mixed feelings about the general execution.

4,5/5. Very good issue! The main plot evolve, a bit slower on the action, but I'm more about the intrigue than anything else in this series so I'm all good with it. I also want to mention, not for the first time, how much I love the art of this series!

What a premises. That catch my attention the moment I saw it. Unfortunately the execution wasn't there for me. The art wasn't really my style, that's really personal. And my problem with the story, is divide in two. First, this is way too slow of a pace for a comic in my opinion. Second, the story seem unsure where it's going or what genre it is. I think it would have made a better novel than a comic and that it should have be more clear which way or which kind of story it want to tell, because the premises sound like great scifi or fantasy thing but we get more or... don't know how to say it, nothing much happen, way too much talking, almost like a more political/international spy stuff. I was disappointed!

I review a lot of those on NetGalley, I don't always post them on Goodreads because they don't really count as reading to me... But I want to allow most people to notice this one. Too often this step by step drawing guide are good and well done, but kind of advance, but this one isn't. Very basic drawing, with six easy steps to follow. Perfect for kids who start drawing and want to draw simple stuff but improving at the same time. Probably the best drawing guide I've seen for young/beginner artist, and I probably have checked over three dozen of those in the last two years so... I think it's meaningful in some way! Great job!
