What a waste of potential! Since I learn that a Cable new series was coming I was just waiting impatiently for it, and then it came! I was expecting something more mature, I miss the old Cable, but instead with get this teeny Cable with a more than teeny story. Totally disappointed and I won't go on with it!
The first issue was better. This one was okay, not much, not less. Intriguing story but nothing mind blowing of fully captivating. I like the flashback thing, but there might be a bit too much...
2,5/5. Well maybe trying a bit too hard here. This one goes in every possible direction. It got cheesy humor, action, a lot of characters, mostly not X-Men which is weird because you know... X-Men comic..., story evolution, a try at epic, lot of space stuff, lot of cross-overs from others series. Too much, not really well mixed, and the cross over can be great if you follow all of them, but kind of a pain if you don't know. Not a big fan of this issue!
I am Iron Gut Chen!!
4,5/5. Haha this guy was one of the funniest characters I encounter in a book in a very long time! This indie fantasy was a big hit. Epic story, strong action, well written and great, but really great characters, probably the strongest aspect of it, a cast that remind me a bit of Kings Of The Wyld by Nicholas Eames (and Bloody Rose too by the same author), a fun group of heteroclite heroes. Even with all that it wasn't perfect and we saw that this was an indie author, maybe a bit more editing (couple of mistake here and there), reworking some scene a bit, maybe starting a bit too slow (collecting the members of the group sure take a bit part of the story) but honestly just really small details, yeah we saw them, but it didn't lower the fun of reading it at all. A great book and an author I will watch carefully!!

Being a teacher myself I love this kind of book, but this one was definitely above the majority! Every facts are so true to what it,s to teach, to joy of it, the moment of despair, the fatigue, the love of doing it anyway! Motivating, beautiful and a good homage to what I dedicate my life to. Always great to see that some notice and appreciate the dedication of this job! Well done!
A book for very young reader that goes on the building vocabulary about boats. And that,s about it.... Not much to say. okay for this kind of book but without anything to really make it stand out!
Excellent! Tons, but I mean TONS of action, but a better story then I anticipated. Good characters development and relations, some kind of emotions too and some sensuality as well. The deluxe edition definitely bring some more depth and quality to the illustration and is worth it in my opinion! I enjoy this series a lot so far and I'm curious to continue the adventure as soon as my vol. 4 will be sent!
3,5/5. A very creepy atmospheric read with hard themes but a bit of a teenagers writing style, that make it easy to read, but at the same time a bit too simply written. Not want to spoiled anything but there is kind of two story in one in this book. The crime/mystery and the more familial story. The second was the best for me. The atmosphere was very intense, almost suffocating by time and the characters even if not that good, make us care for them, the main one mostly, and I became really scare for her at some point! The ending of the mystery is a bit disappointing, being very easy, but the family drama does the job so that make it okay. Not a perfect read, but a worthy read, that read very fast and provide an interesting reading time. I like it!
