Not really for me. I get that the comic format my help young reader to get into «science» but at the same time not sure how well of job it did explaining everything. Not all bad but I was expecting something better coming with the Hubert Reeves name on it
Awesome crossover! Intriguing plot! We'll see where it leads us but look really promising!
A bit of a melting pot of art, style, story, humor, but nothing really working together, everything more of a big mess. No for me!
3,5/5. All along while reading I had a déjà-vu impression but I'm quite sure I never read it so that was weird. That being said, I really enjoy the art and the story too. It was slow, but it just fit the story, like it needed to be slow, so it was okay. Good one!
How to save the dragon: Instrument book for teaching impulse control to children
Madeleine Matthews, Ludmila Hodis
Nope. The message was important but not really well deliver, the illustration were way too soft and eastern like and the story not much greater. Didn't like it!
Real good. One of the great one in the recent releases from this collection. I love it, fun, educative and inspiring as always!
Another one well done in this collection. I like that it include both the math part of his life as well as the injustice he suffer from because of his homosexuality. Well done!.
This book is great! Every animals has two, full two pages (so four). The first two present myths and stuff people think about this animals (the bad), an the second two present the real stuff, the facts and how this animals is «useful» (the good). The concept is good and very well executed. The illustrations are also fun and help presenting the change of perspective between the bad and the good. Good job!!
A good book about the biggest cities in our world. It covers every continent and present the city in three two full pages (so six if you follow). The first presenting and overview of the city, the second is for information about the city, historic and cultural, and the third and last one is about the most significant/impressive/popular building of the city. Well done in every aspect, not ideal to read on a Ipad, even a big one, due to the two pages in one landscape orientation which make the text appear really really small and you constantly zoom in and out of it, but in paper it would be a much fun experience. Still worth in whatever the media!
