Similar to the Japanese one. this one about Scandinavia. Very interesting, even more for me because I'm planning on going there on vacation next year, hopefully! It cover various aspects of this region and really help develop a better understanding of it while still stay a bit on the surface, a very good introduction book!

Finally a great one!! It has been a while since we had a Batman issue that strong. We get back in time to see the events that lead us here and we get a lot of hole fix and explain. This was brilliant!!

1,5/5. Et oui un autre roman populaire et même apprécié de plusieurs autres lecteurs que je suis et dont je respecte l’opinion qui m’a pourtant profondément ennuyé. La plume peut être vu comme poétique, mais une poésie un peu facile je trouve, presque adolescente. Le personnage principal est tout simplement horrible. Un jeune homme pathétique qui se plaint de son sort alors qu’il en est le seul responsable par sa paresse, sa passivité, et son laisser-aller. Une histoire qui n’en est plus ou moins une. Plutôt une errance dans la vie de cet homme, un style «histoire» qui peut me plaire, mais avec un personnage auquel je m’attache ou dans lequel je me reconnais d’une certaine façon, ce qui n’était pas du tout le cas ici.

Ce livre me fait penser, bien que très différent, à Tu aimeras ce que tu as tué de Kevin Lambert, roman ayant également connu un succès commerciale/critique/populaire, mais que j’ai personnellement détesté. Semblable sur le fond. Des jeunes hommes (je parle de personnages et non des auteurs) qui «chialent» se «lamentent» sur la vie et leur sort, sans se rendre compte qu’ils ont une très sérieuse part de responsabilité dans cette supposée fatalité qu’est leur vie.

Une grande déception. Un auteur que je ne pense pas relire…

Toujours excellents, les livres de cette collection sont bien vulgarisés, précis et très instructifs.

Another book on Whiskey! Not much ore then the usual introduction book for the newcomers. Well done.

One of the rare comic from Lemire that I didn't really enjoy. I think that Lemire is always at his best alone, not attach to a universe, Dc in that case, or with collaborator. This one look like a pastiche of the Fantastic Four and wasn't interesting to me, maybe a bit too young for my taste. I will try volume 2 since I've already bought it but I'm unsure!

Nope, even worst then volume one... I feel bad to say that for a Lemire work but it is what it is... Even the art that was so colorful and pretty in the first volume look less shiny here and less attractive. I'm out!

Entertaining and the hardcore fan might enjoy but it's nowhere near the original book, or even the movie. Fun but nothing close to great or epic!

I would have expected something a little bit better, but still a very vast quotes book about teaching, so they can't all be good or deep, but an overall decent and just good to get in it from time to time, to think about what teaching is and should be!

Too empty for me! Some might think it's cute, and it might actually be, but I love children book, even picture book for very young child like this one, to have a bit more contents or a positive message in it, or at least be very funny. This one isn't any of that!
