Easy and simple haunting/possession story. The second half was a bit better, the first as too much humor and started way too slow for a novel this short. The writing was okay and the story too, it was an entertaining horror story but unfortunately it didn't bring anything new, it's all a many many time déjà-vu story. It's also a bit young, I might recommend it too young teenagers who want to start reading horror since it's an easy read. A very average book, without major flaws, but without wonders neither.

Disappointment of the year? Might be! What I thought would be an amazing fantasy/science-fiction story about samurai finally end up being a contemporary book about sexually diversity with a slight touch of science-fiction. Not what I was going in for. Maybe I was badly inform. I mostly goes in book that pick my curiosity not knowing too much to not get spoiled in any way but I should have background check this one a bit deeper. I won't continue and regret buying it... I should't forget to mention that I really like the art style, kind of minimalist blank and white, but truly pretty, that was the best element of the book for me!

2,5/5. I like the art with it simple drawing and pencil colors but the story wasn’t for me. The first part was good and realistic but then it became too «dreamy» and we kind of lost the meaning of it.

This book seems to be quite popular but it didn’t get to me. I didn’t like the arts, the story was a bit long and boring, way too slow, for a child story, and I just never was able to get in it and enjoy the ride. Probably just me!

Very disappointing. I had barely no expectation, I just was curious because I enjoy the TV shows (even if it's also going downhill...), but I still was disappointed. Very thin story, stupid characters like it's almost impossible to be that dumb, the ambiance wasn't that good either, we didn't feel the period of time as well as we do in the TV shows (it could have happen mostly in any time period...) and it just didn't bring much to the experience. I won't continue and I wouldn't recommend it!

I have a strange affection for abandoned places and I’m always fascinated by how it’s crazy that we can abandon magnificent places and just let them fall apart. This book focuses on American theatre. It has a lot of good pictures and some description of those places. Very well done for those of you who like this type of book!

A book that some might consider has a fun adventure, but for me it was just a boring story that didn’t bring anything. I wouldn’t recommend reading it. It has decent review so far (3.91/5 out of 11 ratings (which isn’t much)) so maybe it’s just me but I didn’t like it!

But that presented the basis information about «paranormal» stuff (ghost, alien, monsters, ancient civilization and more). All is well presented and easily explain for younger readers. Could be a good way to be introduced to those kinds of things. As an adult interest in this subject, I didn’t find any new stuff for me, but I don’t think it was the purpose of this book so it’s alright.
