Une prémisse intéressante, mais une écriture tellement sèche et fade (peut-être est-ce la traduction...) et une intrigue très lente m'ont rapidement fait perdre de l'intérêt pour ce livre. Les commentaires sont très polarisé (2 étoiles ou 4-5), alors il semble s'agir d'une livre qu'on aime ou qu'on déteste. Je fais parti du deuxième groupe, sans dire que je le déteste, un livre beaucoup trop quelconque pour moi.

Great «anthology» going back in time to give a try at presenting the 100 greatest moments of the Batman history (not an easy task). Well done, fun to see some of them back and others bring some to my attention that I never read yet! Good job!

Great encyclopedia for kids presenting animal with pretty illustrations (I would have prefer illustrations...) still well done with short and good information. Easy to get thought, well organized and edited. Good job!

I didn't like this one. The illustrations were far from my taste and the story was a bit weird. Not sure where it was going but the message seem strange and I didn't like it!

I didn't like it! The way it was written, kind of poetry, in verses, it isn't something that usually please me and this one wasn't different. The story let me more or less indifferent! Not for me!

Beautiful story and art in this book. A contemplative story about enjoying a day in a canoe with someone. Relaxing, cute and the perfect bed time story in my opinion!

I don't get all the very enthusiastic review. For me this is a case of marketing reviews (might be wrong but it felt like it). The story is closer to contemporary then thriller. The characters couldn't be in anyway more stereotype and the ARC version I got was very poorly edited. Yes it' an ARC so it could contains some minor flaws and it's part of the game. But 95% of the text is highlight, the page/chapter cut don't always happen in a good place and it felt very amateur going through it. Some seem to like it if we check the actual rating/review but I wouldn't recommend reading it!

3,5/5. It seems like I'm on my own here, but this was probably the worst king I've read in years. Not that it was totally bad, I enjoy most of it, but i was expecting so much more. I found it very social and political, King is more and more in his recent book, and I agree with most of his opinion, but this book look like a pamphlet disguise as a story and not a story with social opinion in it (don't know if you get y point here, anyway continuing on..). The story is not much original and I was expecting action to pick up at some point, and it mostly never did. I enjoy it more after page 300... And then the ending, very Hollywood style and a bit disappointing. I can't see why everyone seem to like this book so much (King fan are capable of irrationality we all know, but still...). I don't want to bash this book or anything. I'm a huge fan for over 20 years now. He was the author that open the door to adult literature when I was a young teen and I truly like him, but this book felt boring to me. My favorite character was Tim and we didn't see him for half the book so... Last point and the true strong one for this novel. King write and impersonate children characters like very few does. It,s fascinating to see, a sold as he is now, how vivid his imagination is and how he can project himself as a child and make very realistic children!

2,5/5. This book was an average indie read. It’s fast paced and has a simple writing, which made it easy to read but not really complexe and thoughtful for those who prefer that kind of read. The story is not really original and as been done over and over. Nothing great but a simple entertainment that might find an audience for people who don’t read much and want a book that can be enjoy closely to a movie.
