I loved Room. I really did. But since then, every book I read from this author is a deception. Nothing achieve what she has done with Room. I still got The Wonder at home so I will gonna read this one eventually but if she doesn't impress me, that will probably be the last one I read from her!

I love the art of this one so much Truly a beauty. Unfortunately, the message about gratitude didn't pass. Gratitude is an important thing in life for sure, but turning it into being grateful for many thing because they allow you to get an apple cake... turn out to be more ridiculous then inspiring! I'm grateful for the illustrations of this one but not the story.

ABC book about jobs/careers that HE (why just He and no She...) can do when he will get older. Well done nothing bad about it, but just not outstanding enough to make it noticeable in the massive amounts of ABC books!

This book is ridiculous as possible! Two kids that didn't recognize themselves from the logo on toilets doors decide that it isn't right and toilets doors should be more inclusive. Seriously? How have we become so stupid and crazy about simple thing as a specie! They are toilets doors, their logo is their to prevent uncomfortable situation, they are use because men have urinal and women don't because they can do it up... We don't have to get mad about it and instead of being serious and reasonable adult and saying to the kids to stop and explain that the logo are their to help a fast and easy (without barrier of language) looking of which door is for who, they fell into into it and start saying that right this is unfair and...If your main concern right now in our world is toilets doors you are living a very privilege life under a rock. This book piss me off so bad as you can see/read. Don't do that to yourself!

3,5/5. Alright story about a metaphorical truck (who represent and ADHD kid). The artwork was a bit simple for me, but the story can be use to explain kids why their behavior isn't acceptable and can even be dangerous for others children and I like that part.

Another of those web comic style book. Absurdity is king here, which I can enjoy, but this kind, this book, didn't please me. It's humor so... hard to judge, it make you laugh or not. For me it was the second... unfortunately!

And still! Jeff Lemire!

Self exploration as a catharsis. I respect that for the good it probably did to the author (I hope so) and maybe for some readers as well, but for me... this didn't do it. Mixed of poems and quotes/thoughts/advices, I like the concept and canvas of it all, but it was the form, the poetry, the writing that didn't please me. Not judging the person here of the subject, hard subject to talk about, and like I said if it did some good or help people then it deserve to be. Just saying my opinion and personal appreciation and for me it was a miss!
