Cute and fun read about a young girl who believe in her dream, but also works (in a funny way for the entertainment purpose) to achieved them. Like I said, it is fun and entertaining but can also well be use to introduce a discussion about what is possible and not, and what you have to do if you want to do/achieve something. Well done!
Yes it's just an A-B-C book, but so well done. The illustrations are awesome, it presents both letter Bb and it also help build some vocabulary by adding a short sentences (that describe the illustration) that put two words with the letter presented. Very well done, one of the best I seen for those learning the alphabet book!
2,5/5. An okay story, okay artwork, but it lack the little something to make it really good. It seem to have some kind of message/morale about balance in life and balance of interest with friend or family, but just not clear enough or engaging enough.
Good old Munsch style that always does the job. The illustrations had that unique style that we always recognize. The book help kids name and recognize various emotion. I find it a bit too simple and also I didn't totally agree with all the emotion representation. But still very good!
Marketing brand use of the Little Big Nate to produce a cheap looking book about Nate that draws some animal. Not worth it. I didn't see the point!
This wasn't funny at all. Maybe it would be for some very hardcore, if not crazy, cat lovers... The concept was simple but original. The problem was the humor that just isn't funny!
I like the art and at first the story which is about a child growing up in an apartment or condo and have to use it's imagination to enjoy his day to day, but then I realize their is a lot of things, in my opinion, wrong with the message it try to pass (the children do basically whatever he like, doesn't seem to care if it's bad for the neighbors or anything, their is a tons of cool inside hobby that just seem inexistent in his world, etc.).
Again!! I really awesome comic by Jeff Lemire. This series is very good, a totally different and original take into the super-hero genre! Love every second of it!
