A retelling of the Noah story adapted for children. A religious message in it being a story from the Bible, but well done, not to moralistic and well illustrated, if you think that it's important for your children to know that story, this book might be a good way to do it.

I like that story. Being raise as a catholic I heard those stories many times, but this one was always one of my favorite, maybe because it isn't much of a religious story. It's, for me at least, a story about love, being there for the people we love, and doing/helping them do the right choice. Very good message in it even if you're not catholic or don't care much about religious story, I don't, but the message in this one is good for everybody!

What could have been a really great book/guide for hikes with kids, even if really specific, being only place in California, was hard to consult do to many bugs that didn't allow all the text and the cases to appear clearly. I got this as an ARC so there's still time to fix it until the official publishing, but there is a lot of works to do! It's too bad, because the way it was presented/organized, from what I've seen, and the informations it contain look very promising!

Not sure this book resonated good with me. Yeah the picture are pretty and «cute» but the reviews, even if I salute the originality of the concept, are an easy humor style that didn't please me and contain very fews informative elements. I would have like more serious informations mixed with some humor but not that much. Probably just a personal taste preferences, but for me it was a big miss...

Another web comic turn into book. I more often then not disappointed by those. There always put a little small on my face, but would I want a complete book of those, maybe there not funny enough, at least for me. This one lack «punch» and intensity in it. Not for me!

Good enough book that present animals from various habitats, at night. Some informations on that habitat and on each animal. Simple but well executed!

Just an add up for this particular edition (9781631597282) :

If you don't even bother to align (justify) your text before publishing it... and the story isn't original but just a reimagined... then what have you done to deserve being paid for it. Terrible job!!


The original story definitely worth it, just go for the original and don,t waste time with this edition...

A metaphor about hope and death. Not so sure about the message and in fact it didn’t get to me. I like the idea/concept, but the way the story/moral is told just seem awkward to me!
