2,5/5. I love the art of this book. It allow me to feel the heat, the sun and the ambiance was awesome. Unfortunately, even if I like the idea of presenting a real person and her influence, this book let me down. I could never allow myself to enjoy and get into the story for some reason. I won,t say it was a bad book, but it wasn't a good book for me!

Funny book about a fairy that leave magic aside and focus her life on science. All the others fairy find her strange and all. Funny yes, but also a book that can be use to talk about science but also about difference and how multiple point of view or angle can be useful for society. Good job!

Good enough story about Hawaiian culture and gender stereotypes. Not the best book I read this week, but I like the message it shares!

2,5/5. Friendly animal adventure with good humor. Nothing really original and the illustrations weren't that pretty. Very casual/average book!

Beautiful love sharing homage to your children kind of book. It has some «melody» in it so it can really be upgraded by being «act/sing/dance» at least in some parts. The art was pleasing and comfy for children and the amount of love express in this book definitely made it a feels good read!

Amusing story about a kids who go get a surgery in an hospital run by animal, and mostly for animal... Good humor in this one and pretty illustrations. I like the idea of presenting a surgery that many children will go through, showing how an hospital work and the steps to get your surgery, etc. All that mixed with humor make it easier to get, less scary and a book that can be use for good, preparing for a surgery or an hospital stay and talk about it with your children. The end lets us think that it might have a second book that would talk about the first day of school, which I would really like to read! Great work by the author!

Beautifully illustrated this book has a cute story about friendship and again (seem like I get a lot of those these days) some thinking about respecting others and their differences. it was good, but I read better book that approach a similar topic, and some of them were better, deeper then this one, that's why it loose some stars!

3,5/5. Interesting little book. Not much in term of story or illustrations, both are alright, but nothing extraordinary about them, and that is mostly what I look for in picture books. But event if that wasn't great the book is still very good. It has a good way to introduce new vocabulary for children, has a strong and important message about environment and the writing with the rimes and all, makes it fun to read out loud. Good job!

Very similar to the first one in this collection so I will just post the exact same comment. The only difference is that the other take place in the sea and this one in a puddle. Both are good, but very similar which make the fact of reading both a bit relevant!
