Another great book in the Darren Shan/Cirque du Freak series. A book that really is mixing well the action elements with the more dramatic one. We get to see Darren evolve in his new identity and even if he gain some we also get to see what he has to leave behind and what he will never be allow to have and this duality is something that make this series interesting and deeper then most kids series. I also really enjoy the vampire/horror part that make this series good and just achieved the right density of horror to be good and adapted to its public. Perfect in every way! I series I love as an adult and I series I would have kill for as a young boy!!

I respect what the author want and try to do, but this isn't a good book. The activities are really basic, kids and parents could think of that without any help and some of them just don't work depending on where you're living, and some could be done anywhere outside or inside, so.... Good intention but poor execution.

If you're obsesses with hair and want to know more about it, first you're weird, but this book might be for you! It goes through all the various type of hair and there utilities on many mammals species. It have good pictures and information well adapted and easy to understand by the young reader. A very specific subject, but I can say this book isn't well done... if you,re interested!

Onomatopoeias are often present in kids book and this one is just about them, explaining what they are and following a group of children who go search for them around. Not the biggest story of all time but I think that this book can be a lot of fun trying to say/produce the sound of those onomatopoeias with your children while reading the book. Original, simple and funny!

It was good but not as much as the first two volume. Can't really say why... but something felt different. Maybe it's the fact that we cover more ground, more groups and that we focus a bit less on our main characters... not sure. Anyway I still like it, it was funny and really entertaining and I will of course continue this series!

I really love this story. It has everything that I like in it. Yasmina is a very likeable character, the drawing style is good enough and it has a very strong, this is the best part in my opinion, message in it. The message is some sort of environmentalist and good eating/health habits, values that are both really important for me and the author bring this subject with humor and a perfect mixed of lightness and seriousness it doesn't become heavy and don't fall into absurdity either. This book also bring some social criticism which I really like! It's just a fun comic that have deep thinking and message to pass.Really well done!

Just a book of fun and easy to do experiences/recipes. Simple and good enough. Fun book for parents or can event be use in science project in elementary school to explain and talk about the science part behind those experiences, which the book also explain. A good book!

A book that present and explain all the basics informations to knows for a kids who makes his first move online. The purpose of this book is important and well done, the information are easy to understand relevant but unfortunately the format of the book, the way the information are put on paper, the organization and visual aspect of it are not really attractive and interesting, so that is a big minus. Not a pretty book but definitely a boom that has some important info!

This book was bad. The illustrations were really far away from what I like. The story is way too soft and cheesy, even for a children story. I can't find anything worth it in this one. Sorry...

Clearly another book with a very specific subject. It's good, there is a lot of information in it but my problem with it was the targeted audience for it because it look like a children book, but there is so much text, so much information that it's clearly not adapted for young reader. Good but for older reader then the book might make you think at first look! Probably for reader around 9 or 10 I think...
