Awesome read!! There is a very creepy ambiance in this book, very creepy when you considered the fact that it,s consider a middle-grade book. Not too creepy, I think the kids can take it. The ambiance was awesome all the way through, at the end we get a more action pack scenes that look more like middle-grade action, but it was still entertaining. I like the weirdest of it all, the originality of it and the dark side it has. Kind of an unique read honestly! And also the dust jacket for this edition look like a sheet from a wasp nest so it's a very cool and beautiful book as an object in itself! Really glad I pick this one! Great discovery!

Non... très ordinaire. Ne se démarque en rien, l'écriture et le style très français de France des dialogues m'a également tapé sur les nerfs et l'intrigue n'est pas captivante. Pas de défauts majeurs, mais un roman terne, qui se perd dans la masse...

A very emotional graphic novel. This book is an homage from the author to his dead daughter that die when she was almost 2 years old. All in simplicity the author goes through the even and his grief process. Very touching and beautiful at the same time. Sad but worth reading!

A books of funny facts and explanation. Simple, the choice of facts was interesting enough, but there isn't any references so the scientific info may be questionable, even if the author has some professional notoriety. I would I like it to be just factual, without the kind of humor that wasn't that good in my opinion. Not bad, but not great either!

I just don,t get where this book was going and what it wanted to achieved. Was it just absurd humor? Did the multicultural message was supposed to be significant? Not sure. The illustrations were minimalistic but still were good and I like the humor in it even if it became repetitive really fast.

I also want to say... I really review book mentioning the price of it, but this one (I got it free on NetGalley so it's alright for me) is selling for 25$, that's a lot of money for that kind of book and I just don't see who would want to pay that much for a book that clearly not worth it... it's sad to come to that, but you have to consider it, I'm mean you get great graphic novel by Guy Delisle et Emil Ferris, for 10$, book two time bigger and on a complete other level of graphic novel, but really another universe!!

2,5/5. Interesting universe but a comic that I find really slow in the story evolution and just felt unbalanced alternating between long pages full of dialog and then a fews pages of action, and then back again... Could have bee done better. Still not bad and could please some. The animals heroes is always entertaining and done okay here.

1,5/5. Another book with a great message on an important person i history but unfortunately that isn't enough to make a good book. The illustration are very children-made like which didn't please me at all and the story was written in a way that didn't captivate the reader at all either. Also there is way too much text, in long paragraph and all, for the targeted reader age.

4,5/5. This book was weird but in a good way. The narrative part was okay but nothing really mind blowing or outstanding. What is, was the thinking of the main characters, his idea about death, life, society, and much more. He is kind of an alienated person but I find myself relying to it, not see myself crystal clear, but I still find his idea, his psychology, his obsession really interesting and all... Weird book and character but an interesting story and deep thinking, even if sometime that thinking became close to psychosis, made this book great and kind of unique! Really like it!

Good and original character for children stories. The story is really short and have a lot of pages that are just illustrations. Nonetheless this book is worth reading, repetitive sentences, easy to read, pretty illustrations and like I said original character as a young girl working on a farm/ranch. A simple book, but very well done in all aspects and, again..., original. Like it!

Another book on dementia/Alzheimer disease for children. It just seem like there is more and more book on that subject recently. Anyway, a good book to talk about and bring a discussion about a difficult subject. It cover it well and open the door to discussion like it's suppose to do. The illustrations were not really my style, but they are okay. An alright book, that just look like many others... the lack of originality hurts him a little but it isn't better or worst compare to the other.
