This one is about emotion... surprise! And how to understand them, manage them and live with them. The format of the book made me think a little about for whom was this book made? Because it look like it’s for kids from maybe something like 8 and even through young teens years, 14 years old maybe.... I mean the content and dealing with emotion can be helpful at all age, but I’m talking about the way it’s talk about language, metaphor, illustrations, etc. But at the same time, it’s quite a long book and has a lot of text. Maybe it’s meant to be use by adult to help kids. So I’m still unsure about that but anyway it’s a good book to learn how to deal with emotion ad in my opinion it more relevant with a younger public!

I didn’t like this book at all. First, it looks a bit… I wouldn’t say cheap, but easy doing maybe, very casual artwork and story. I nonetheless think that some reader could enjoy it, some mother and daughter read time might make it enjoyable, but in the vast quantity of children book out there I just don’t see why read this book.

What the hell was that!! In the beginning the book made sense, a story about a child that scare of the doctor and the relation between his mom and him and how she takes care of him and all. Cute and beautiful illustrations, but then... The kid drop his «candy» (that the doctor gave him for being calm) on the bus because he wasn’t paying attention and his mother just say «Hey we going to go all the way back to the doctor to ask for another one!!» Really? How stupid and wrong this message his for kid!! Ridiculous!

Excellent! Je ne savais pas trop à quoi m'attendre et malgré la structure qui manque un peu d'originalité, qui peut rappeler les série pour enfants populaires des dernières années (particulièrement Percy Jackson!) le tout demeure bien fait, divertissant et agréable. Les personnages sont bien développés, l'humour est efficace et on apprend même certaines choses sur l'électricité. J'ai trouvé la partie aux deux des personnages principaux sont séparés (j'essaie de ne rien révéler) un peu long, d'un côté la route et la route et de l'autre une amitié un peu fifille à mon goût qui apporte assez peu à l'intrigue et à l'histoire. Un solide quatre étoiles et une aventure que je poursuivrai!!

Did I ever mention how good this series is? Absolutely fantastic! A must read!!

2,5/5. A quotes books about love. Well all is said... The quotes were not that great and the illustrations that accompanied them were a bit too sketchy for my taste. I was hoping for something more than that!

I had very high hope for this one, thinking it will follow up from the Uncanny X-Men series, but it didn't. The story was light but okay, but the illustrations style, kind of a new old classic vintage style that I didn't like at all. I won,t go on with this one!

Not necessarily my type of book, but I have to admit this one was way better then expected! Some strange and weird love story with a dark touch to it and most of all wonderful artwork, really outstanding! Even if it's an anthology and it vary in style and all, it has always a very high level of illustrations! Beautiful and above average story! Big surprise!
