Captivant et terriblement prennant. Un style parfaitement maitrisé, des personnages attachants, un bon rythme et... quelle fin!! Je vais me plonger dans le troisième et dernier tome très prochainement! Une série à découvrir pour les amateurs de science-fiction!

Not good at all. Yes we have some facts about plants, but why would you make a book like that with that kind of illustrations... pictures, good quality photography would have make it some much more relevant in my opinion. And also the unbalance between the information (older public) and the illustrations (very childish) just doesn't fit together. As far as I'm concern this is a complete failure!

So good! This is exactly what horror/fantasy book/series for kid should be. It have good characters, it's fast pace, have some dark enough stuff and a really intriguing storyline! I can wait to read the next one! Well done!

2,5/5. I get what the author was trying to put into paper and I respect it. But unfortunately it didn't please me. Probably too slow for me, but it have beautiful artwork and a decent story with an historical background. Everything is there, but it lack a little something to make it hold all together in a great way!

Good crime graphic novel with animal instead of person as characters. The artworks was amazing and the story very good. Nothing extraordinary but a more then decent work! I enjoy it!

2,5/5. 28 Days Later, the movie, was an unique masterpiece of horror movie, true to itself and very good. This comic book didn't do it justice. It isn't bad, but far from the style, the ambiance and the originality of what the movie had bring in its time. This book just goes with the overall work done on zombie for the last decade or so. Like I said, not bad, but I was expecting way more out of this one!

2,5/5. I didn’t really enjoy this story. I don’t really know why, but while I was reading it I have the feeling that I already read it, kind of a déjà-vu, but I checked and I never read it... so I’m not sure. Anyway the story was very imaginative and it has beautiful illustrations, there’s no denying that. Unfortunately the story was a bit too «slow» and I didn’t like the character much so... I think some people will enjoy it, because it’s well done, just wasn’t for me.

I love this book! It’s a great crime novel and I particularly enjoy the main character, Jimmy. For me this book is all about him, what he has done and what he will do. In his novel, the author put perfectly into place the criminal world of New-York, with the language, the different families, the criminal activities and the reality of it, from what I know, I’m no expert, but it look very real to me while I was reading it. I also like how Jimmy live and react after he was release from prison. The desire of liberty, the little pleasure of life that take a bigger importance, again this look real and was really well describe. The balance between present and past create a good rhythm because at the same time, we want to know what he did to go to prison and also what he will do now that he is out, and because we care for him, then we really want to know and we read faster and faster. Unfortunately it wasn’t perfect… there is two elements that were less interesting for me. First, the romance/love part of it, in the middle of the book, takes a lot of place, a bit too much for my taste. Second, this isn’t the most original story. This kind of world and story has been told many times. This isn’t a strong negative element, because the author was able to bring his own color and style to it so it became a good book, but there is definitely a lack of originality to it. Would I recommend it? Yes! If you love classic crime/mafia story like The Godfather, The Drop by Dennis Lehane and other book like them, this one is worth the time!

Un livre d'introduction pour les néophytes sur le sujet. Bien fait et bien vulgarisé comme toujours avec Frédéric Lenoir, ce livre demeure malheureusement en surface et n'apprends probablement rien au gens qui s'intéressent déjà aux animaux (particularités physiques et psychologiques, production alimentaire, etc.). Ce livre ce veut une défense des droits des animaux et une ouverture au respect qui leur est dû. Ce que j'admire et avec quoi je suis totalement d'accord. J'aurais simplement aimé en apprendre plus, mais puisque c'est un sujet que je connais déjà assez bien, je n'ai malheuresement rien appris. Je le recomande seulement si vous commencer à vous intéressé aux «droits» des animaux ou à leur défense et que vous voulez vous construire une base sur le sujet.

A book about acceptance of kids with special need from a big sister point of view. The message is good and important there's no denying it, but the book and the story that try to illustrate it are way too simple and light to really achieve it's purpose.
