Is it finish? Look like it but not sure... will the Dead Man Logan series will be a new one of kind of the sequel of this one...? Lot of questions, not many answer right now! Anyway this was good but not as good as I wanted it to be. Lot of action, but just a big lack of originality, we seen it all so many time already. Not sure what to expect next. Will see!

Not my favorite character, and not my favorite new series. I won't continue with this one. Even if it isn't that bad, it just too «teenage» for not saying childish for me.

Not that good of a book, but it sure is an interesting concept! The story is about some friends, animals mostly, that lives «hidden» or secretly in a school. I like the idea, the illustrations were beautiful and I also love the organization of the book with three small chapters, that give a novel kind of think and doing so can introduce kids to begin to read novel. Unfortunately the story in itself is a bit pale and not very intriguing. High and low in this one!

A haiku book organized by season. The illustrations are very good and I love them, but the haikus were a bit «easy» or «light» I would say, probably not the best word, but just not deep enough for my taste even if there weren’t bad.

4,5/5. Great short stories book by the master R. L. Stine. Certainly the author at tread the most at a young age and still enjoy reading it as an adult. Those stories are not all «horror» but they’re all good and very entertaining. Not that scary for adult obviously, but they could give the younger reader a good Goosebumps moment. Loved it!

Wordless graphic novel here in an humorous story. Real easy/light headed humor here, kind of absurd at the same time. Funny but at the same time you will forget about it as soon as you have finish reading it. Kind of remind me of that old mute cartoon TV show (don't remember the name if you know please comment!!) with the big blue cat and can of cockroachs that were messing with him... Anyway it isn't relate to that story in anyway but the style of it (illustration and story) make me thing of that one... maybe it's just my brain messing out, Not bad but not memorable either.

I was expecting something weirder with that premise, but in the end this book revolve mostly around love and teenage life. The visual work is intriguing and original so that's a good point, but the story just wasn't captivating enough for my taste!

Very interesting concept and idea in this book, but unfortunately, maybe it was lost in the translation, I didn't felt enough emotion and didn't find it philosophical enough either. It's still a good book, because in put in perspective some life choice people makes and some life «choice» that were force on them. It's also, obviously, a book about justice and present the concept of people doing nothing or passively agreed with the system keep this system working (something that is terribly actual). And it's well written. it really has everything it need, but just felt a bit short in the execution, it's good, but it could have been perfect!

Viewing it on Netgalley I decide to have a look even if I wasn't very thrill by the vol. 1. And I discover that I wasn't really thrill with vol. 2 either. I won't go on with this series for sure and I will just post the exact review (lazy me) that I post for vol. 1 because I have the exact same opinion and feeling about it!!

Part of new lines of super-heroes. This volume, and this new lines in general, failed badly in the originality. I said it many time, with the strength and diversity of Marvel and DC in the super-heroes world, you got to come really strong and original to present sometimes new and independent. This isn't the case here. A story we have seen many times, not strong enough characters and illustration that are again too average to make it come out. Not bad, but way too poor and not original enough to catch my interest and attention!
