3,5/5. The illustrations in that book are awesome. Like the story there are quite dark, but there is beauty in darkness, and this book is full of it. Unfortunately the story development is a bit slow for my comic book liking, but it's still a book worth looking at!

I've got this book on Netgalley (like many...) it doesn't affect my opinion in anyway, but I say it for this book because part of it seem unfinished, so it probably won't be the case for the final published version but it was for mine so... What I notice is that some picture had not sentence on them but the «Add caption» notice and there is one who had a caption but in what look like Spanish or Portuguese maybe. That being said, that book is really good. It cover the entire world of the Owls, from basic anatomy, to their environment, the way they hunt, etc. etc. I though it would be a very basic children book about owl, but sincerely I learn stuff and I think most adult will, even if it's a book for children around 10 years old I would say. Lots of contents, but all is well explains, well organize, a lot of pictures. If you want to learn about owl this is a good book to do it!

Le mielleur conte que j'ai lu de toute ma vie!! Sans aucun doute!! Tout simplement magnifique. Magique pour les enfants, philosophique pour les adultes, il porte à réfléchir et nous émerveille tous. Une histoire memorable que tous devraient lire une fois dans leur vie!!

Receuil un peu inégal (c'est presque toujours le cas...), mais j'ai bien aimé le fond de folie qui englobe l'ensemble des nouvelles. Un style simple, et des idées parfois un peu lancé en l'air. On a parfois l'impression d'un repmier jet, d'une grande idée mise sur papier, mais peu élaboré ou peu travaillé. Le fond est bon, mais le tout aurait pu être travailler davantage pour franchir un autre niveau. Une lecture que j'ai apprécié, mais un potentiel qui me semble mal exploité!

So good!!! Dark, intriguing, a character that is so lovable! The drawing style is simple, all black and white obviously, but beautiful, even kind of romantic/gothic in a way. I'm not a big manga reader but this one definitely caught my attention and I'm glad I've read it. Just bought vol. 2-3-4 online. Really great!

Really good one, with an old Punisher appearance! Full of action! A bit out of context for the story in the series, but entertaining and fun!

Less psychological then the rest of this series so far, more action, there still a little bit of psychology in ti but not much and that was the strong point of this series, so I'm a bit disappointed with this one, it was good, but not as good as I expected/wished!

Great book about boats, sailing ships to be more specific. It cover a wide range in time and present tons of ships, specifications about them, full page illustrations, and a full page description/history/explanation on each one of them. If you love boats and or history this book might interest you. It sure interested me!

Not so sure about this one. I'm always careful and patient with first comic in a series so it's still the case here. Nothing that really catch my attention, but I'm curious and will look int the next one to see where this will go. So far not much, nothing really new... will see...

Beautiful book, a piece of art in itself, about the presence of gold through time and culture. More of and history book then an art one, both part are present but the history part is definitely dominant. This is a very specific subject, but it does a good work going over it, so if the subject look interesting to you, maybe you should have a look.
