Yeah giving compliment is good and important, but this book isn't. The illustrations are alright, but the story is pointless and I don,t think kids will rely see the point or learn more about being gentle and compliments others persons.

A really unique book that is all about Bill Murray. Between a filmography/biography, an homage and pop arts this book just presented lots of artworks with Bill Murray face... like I said... unique. The arts s great, lots of different styles and very some amazing works by talented artist. If you love Murray or maybe even if you just love arts. This is an interesting book to look at!

First I've got to say that I'm not much into spirituality/occultism stuff so palmistry was quite new to me. I had, like everyone, seen it in a movie or something, but never really read on it. That being said, this book is a good one for starter, either it's for fun or more serious research, it provides information about the different types of hands, fingers, and lines. For me it was a curious reading and I have to say that I find it more interesting that I though it would be. The only downer to it, is that hands/fingers/lines can be different in very small way and that one type is sometime close to another, so to really find which is yours and all that on your owns with no much comparison can be difficult. It's really a subject that would be better if people to compare their hands and personality to see if this is very relevant. But definitely an interesting book on that particular subject!

A book about astrology but that goes beyond the original signs of your birth date. It goes with the sun and moon signs, the astrology charts that you can makes to see where you are in that, your aspect and others things. Well done, easy to read even if you don't know much, but I think that if you want to goes through that book you may be well into it, because let's be honest, there is not much people who do their astrology chart. So easy to read for newcomers but certainly a book for more serious astrology lovers!

I have mixed feeling about this one They were parts that were really good and others just so terrible so it's hard to give an overall rating of it, but I choose to go with three stars. The rhythm was great until the last quarter of the book. The storyline was gripping and you really want to know how it will end, so that a good point. The writing style was nothing extraordinary but not below average for a thriller. What make it loose points, and interest, was the characters that were too clichés, way too generic, more or less all the same kind/style of people. First fail. Second... some part were too long, it wasn't necessary to go through the physical description of the woman who disappear every time. She really goes with the same description to ask every characters of the book if they have seen «A young with girls, my size, with black hair, really smooth skin, and sh's pretty.» This question/description goes on and on for like 20 pages. This wasn't useful to the story. And the worst of all twists... those twists were bad all book long. There were a lot of them, let's say ten maybe, and only one of them surprise me. The others were predictable but in the same time stretch so far they just don't seem credible and realistic enough for that kind of book.

*** Rare thing for me but there will be spoilers next***

Lo, the main character, wake up at the beginning of the book with a stranger/thief in her house, this bring nothing to the story in anyway... this seem to traumatize her very bad. But later in the book, she gets capture and sequestrated for almost a week in a dark creepy cave of a boat and this traumatizing experience, seem to be more or less like a small walk in the park to her. What kind of person his more scare of a burglar then being kept prisoners and waiting to be torture or kill in the middle of nowhere!?!

There where many nonsense holes in the storyline like this one, let me just share another. The husband want to kill his wife, with a plot that make no sense in every details, but I won't event go through them... his wife is dying of cancer... so why going through all that... she going to die soon anyway...

And the ending... there is the Hollywood part were she get back to her boyfriend, there happy when to move together, get married, etc. And let's not forget that the woman who try to kill her and kept her prisoners send her a 40 000$ by Internet... big change of heart.

So why still give 3 stars. The first part deserve 3, the middle can have deserve a 3,5 maybe even 4 and the last quarter not more then 2, the book would have been a decent average thriller if it wasn't of the ending, so I didn't want to destroy a book because of the ending but still... Probably the worst ending I read this year (I'm a over 700 books/comics so far). Anyway this review is far too long and I think you get my point!

The story just seem like a lot of random stuff put together. Big lake of connection between the elements of the story. Disappointment!

Yeah! I was expecting a new strong series by Marvel for quite a while now, and I don,t want to get hype to fast because this is only issue #1, but this one look like it! Clash of generation, lot of strong/interesting characters from the Marvel/X-Men universe and a storyline that look very promising! Strong start!

Incredible one! Great story very psychological and some masterpiece artworks!!

Je n'ai pas aimé l'humour. Je n'ai pas aimé les dessins. Pas pour moi!

This is a fair adaptation of the Xena universe. I didn't particularly enjoy it, but it doesn't have big flaws. It just an average book. Nothing bad, nothing great. Average in every aspect! I would recommend only if you are a very big fan of the character.
