I'm no expert in poetry, far from it, for me it's really about the feeling I get while reading it. And with this book, I felt absolutely nothing. I don't mean to say it's bad poetry, I don't know, but it wasn't the kind of poetry I like!

I read this one in English because that is the version I've put my hand on, but with the subject and author's name, I'm pretty sure this book was originally in French. This is an homage to the great goaltender Jacques Plante and also a brief history of mask for the goaltender, which of course goes with the man! A good book. The young hockey fan will loved it, and it's always good to remember that those guys used to keep goal without any face protection... crazy!

3,5/5. The editing/visual organization of this book is just terrible. Look like an old school book from the 80's. That being said, if you go through that, and unfortunately some kids might not, the book contents is interesting, well explain and vulgarize and contain a good amount of information about our planet, others planets, life, space exploration, colonization, etc.

A book that present in a very simple way the joy of Fall. Like I said, very simple, but event if nothing special about it, can't say it's a bad book. Average!

Very poor originality here. A story that have been put in place a million time and even if it isn't bad in itself it's just nothing news, nothing special to make it come out of the lot.

1,5/5. I try recently to explore more YA, but the more I try the more I ask myself why go through that. Too teeny, too much high school day to day (that one was strong on that), slow pace, clichés and so on. I really go with and open mind, and I know I'm not the targeted public here, but I just can't find positive stuff or reason to want to read that. The paranormal/magic stuff look interesting, but just didn't get enough place. Anyway, not for me... sorry!

1,5/5. Really light, too light, storyline, poor writing, an okay suspense but nothing great and the characters were a bit empty, not deep enough. Really not a memorable read here.

The book in itself is alright but nothing more... but the message is really great and important to pass to younger generation, so it make that book meaningful and useful. The message is about the importance of liking what we have and stop wanting more and more and more, which is a terrible and very present problem in our modern society. 2,5/5 for the book, the illustrations, the storyline all was okay but it lack the wow effect! But a big 5/5 for the message, so I go with a 3,5/5.

This is a book that's part of some kind of little collection from this author who presented in a simple way, kind of short biography for kids, great woman in various «field of activity». This one is about Mother Theresa and the illustration were not that good, but the woman is such an important person of our modern era and I think lot of kids today don't know anything about her, so this book is a good way to show them who she was! Simple, but good book!
